They are bottom of the league, have the 2nd worst goal difference in the league and just lost 3-0 at home to Stockport.

If theres any game in this division that we have a right to win with our squad then it's this one.

I think it will be a solid 2-0 win :chant:

5-0.

Fryatt,

Dyer (2)

DJ (2)

I like the look of that, can't see it though.

I'd take a solid 2-0 win with the scorers being Oakley and DJ.

Me neither to be honest mate, but if we are going to maul someone at home this season, this is our perfect chance.

What we don't want is any daft "we've beaten the top of the League everyone else is easy posturing". We need the fast closing down and quick, well-supported, attacking that has been a feature of our best play so far this season. Our defence needs to stay focused and decisive.

There are no easy games. We'll need the same intent and competitiveness as is required for any match and Pearson needs to make sure he gets that which won't necessarily be easy in the aftermath of yesterday.

But City hold the aces. It is hard for opponents to stop us scoring as I've mentioned before and with DJ back in action and Gradel well rested and presumably raring to go I cannot imagine a comfortable night for the visitors. City by two goals would be my guess.

Anything less than a win against these would be disastrous, it should be the easiest game of the season. Crewe are in terrible form at the bottom of the table, have a very flaky defence, and don't score many goals at all. I'll go for 3-0.

We really should win this game they look shocking hopefully if we win and a few others drop points around us a bit of gap might start to form

The obvious response is easy win

The reality of typical Leicester is to go and win away to top then lose at home to bottom, I have put a win but it would be same old Leicester to let down in a game like this

This has 1-0 home defeat written all over it in my eyes. Hopefully we can start to build some momentum though unlike every other time we've gone top and then seem to fall straight back down again.

Trouble is football sometimes doesn't work like that and the last thing we need is for anyone to think it will be easy.

It would be a real waste of an opportunity to lose but disastrous? Disastrous is playing for a draw at Stoke when you need to win, not suffering a shock defeat at home when you're top of the table.

There's a way back from the Crewe game but there wasn't one when the final whistle blew at Stoke.

goals Goals GOALS!

personally hope for a win.. as a steward in the away section, i must say i dont like it when we loose a home, (or when we dont win against against teams that we should)

Lose. Would just be typical. :(

Oh by the way AoWW, as an English teacher, what is your opinion on maddog's spelling of "Opometer"? :P

Another game where we can expect the visitors to park their team bus in front of goal and play 5-5-0, hoping to nick a point.

If we get an early goal then we should slaughter these lot, but the longer the game goes on without a goal the frustration will be felt throughout the ground.

Just checked the odds for this.

Julien Baudet to score first and Crewe to win 4-1 at a staggering 30200/1 lol

It's worth a quid surely - Then again, you've got more chance of winning the national lottery than this happening.
