Monk Posted 27 November 2008 Posted 27 November 2008 I've been unemployed (and not travelling) for 4 weeks now, and it is bliss getting up when I want, and I have time for to do all those things I never got around to working in Banking... it can't last though... I need a solution soonish.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 November 2008 Posted 27 November 2008 To anyone who is in need of work soon and isn't too bothered about it lasting too long (ie, get some cash before Crimbo) the Royal Mail are always desperate this time of year. Suffolk_fox Posted 4 December 2008 Author Posted 4 December 2008 I have an interview on Tuesday and have been put forward for some other jobs too. Yay!
Monk Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Don't go back, it's bloody awful at the minute. Just applied for 3 banking jobs this morning. I'd be suprised if I even get a call back.
Tommeh Posted 10 December 2008 Posted 10 December 2008 Started a new Job monday night, 7pm till 7am, packaging stuff (didn't even get to use the forklift!)anyway I text in a resignation yesterday morning, I wouldn't wish a shift like that on anyone. Was on about £10 an hour aswell! Still got a few shifts at tribunals service, doing admin sturf, but nowhere near enough. Then an interview at River island on friday one BIG problem: I fear though was me saying I could work boxing day in the application. I'll tell them where to go if that question comes up. Also its the Notts store. Roll on Uni.
