Surely if these managers were adamant that the likes of Henry and Veira would turn into world beaters they wouldn't have sold them for peanuts?

Van Persie was rated an excllent prospect by Feyenoord but was dubbed "enfant terrible" by the Dutch press.

That's why Feyenoord were so ready to offload him.

So the talent must already have been there, even if he didn't show it at Juve.

The lad is 25. When will he ever be the finished product. This is about as good as he'll get. If he just stays injury free, and he can go very far.
