I have nothing planned and i couldn't be happier I'm intrigued to know, do you have the traditional big roast turkey in that weather, or do you opt for a more lighter option?

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 December 2008 Author Posted 11 December 2008 Ruddy hell - and what are you going to do with all that spare time at your hands?Choices, so many choices!!! About 3 days of cricket lined up, plenty of drinking time and alot of doing fcuk all Fox 123 thats why we drink plenty of ice cold beer none of that warm shite you guys dish up. Our winters are turning into the summer yet cold instead of mildishy warm, its just rain. Brits are known for their moaning, I'm sure that this is down to the miserable weather we have. SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 December 2008 Author Posted 11 December 2008 I prefer my beer Ice Cold, though if I have had a skinfull it tends to bloat my stomach and I eat a lot less. That's a lightweights excuse
fox123 Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 That's a lightweights excuse I concur, a can of Special Brew and i'm pretty much all over the shop. Why isn't that god damn Off License open
Fosse Boy Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 And once lunch and dessert has gone down backyard cricket Wish my back garden was big enough. So many lofted on drives into the houses across the street have put a stop to it. I do miss bowling intimidating left arm bouncers (with a tennis ball) at my younger brother though. Oh well, there's always corridor cricket... Enjoy the three weeks off!

Oh well, there's always corridor cricket... Enjoy the three weeks off! We live in a court and over the summer holidays we would have massive games that would start after lunch and go till there was no light we would get kids from all the houses around the area and mates around and make 2 proper 11 a side teams, these games would go all holidays......during the winter it would be soccer or cricket.....great memories The neighbours used to hate it and got told to stop our games early sometimes by the police cos neighbours were sick of it i wish i was a kid again there were the years

Alexikokopops Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 Yeah whats your point How much better does food tatste cooked on a bbq? It was good but weird. We had some absolutely equisite chilli baby octopus for starter though. So tasty. It didn't really feel like Christmas. We were up in the mountains (in Thredbo) in the Royal Navy Ski Lodge and decided to climb Mount Kosciusko on Christmas day with some beers just so we could sit in the snow and have a beer. That made it feel more Chrismassy. It was fecking colod though, the wind chill was in the minus degrees
Ric Flair Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 I've always wanted to experience Christmas in a hot country, the only places i've spent Christmas away is in Spain where it was about 14 degrees. I also want to experience Christmas somewhere where it's like minus fook knows and there's snow everywhere. Sweden or Norway would be ideal.
