I agree with you...But I've been to the other three places Ultra suggested and there all good. High cross = Cheap, friendly, SPOONS - can't go wrong! Vaults = Old man pub. Critiron = Quality pub. Won't hear a bad word. Great pizza too. Depends what kind of a night out your after. I wouldn't take a lass to the Vaults/Criterion anyway!
