Sniffer-Clarke Posted 27 December 2008 Posted 27 December 2008 Been shopping today in Nottingham with my daughter and her husband [who is a forest supporter] and he tells me a lot of forest fans would like NP to manage his home town club, stranger things have happened in football i hope this does not become to be true because i think he his doing a steady job at city.
Shrenchel Posted 27 December 2008 Posted 27 December 2008 That's not a rumour is it. That's just what some Forest fans want. I'd like to shag Andy Gray's daughters but you're not gunna read about it in the News of the World.

Guest Bilo Posted 27 December 2008 Posted 27 December 2008 I was worried this might start but then I thought about the facts. City are a club on the up, and will more than likely be a Championship club this time next year. With a handful of decent signings, we could also be a real force in that division. Forest on the other hand look as though they will be a struggling Championship side at best, and could well be in League One. Recent history has proved that they probably wouldn't come straight back either, especially when you consider that they'd have finished 9 points behind Leeds if not for the latter's points deduction and took 3 years to win promotion even under those circumstances. No matter what any Forest fan tells you, they aren't a big enough club to be in a position to tempt any decent manager away from a decent job. My opinion is they'll go for somebody who is presently unemployed. I'm thinking either Billy Davies or Roy Keane.

Daggers Posted 27 December 2008 Posted 27 December 2008 I'd like Wales to win... anything, really. I'd settle for a qualification once in a while. Or the return of the Home Internationals.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 December 2008 Posted 27 December 2008 I'd settle for a qualification once in a while.Or the return of the Home Internationals. Should have done that in the summer when no British team qualified for the Euros. It could be years before that happens again and it would certainly have been better than friendlies against Trinidad and the USA.
gibbo Posted 27 December 2008 Posted 27 December 2008 NP is great manager and if forest want him tell them to f off i think they should try and get billy davies or roy keane but not our manager
Jimmy Posted 27 December 2008 Posted 27 December 2008 I'd like Steve Gerrard to sign for us. only if he brings Torres and Babel with him

Fosse Boy Posted 28 December 2008 Posted 28 December 2008 Flattered obviously, the bloke's a top manager. But F*rest can fcuk right off with any intentions of that kind.
Jimmy Posted 28 December 2008 Posted 28 December 2008 why would he join a club that we're likely to replace come the end of the season?
Maybes Posted 28 December 2008 Posted 28 December 2008 I think the post title states it all. 'Would like'. No way is he leaving for them .
iancognito Posted 28 December 2008 Posted 28 December 2008 They used to get linked with O'Neill all the time as well but he noticed one thing, the same thing NP will spot - it's 30 years since they were a 'great' club, they aren't even a sleeping giant anymore, just another 20000 average gate Championship club. At best. As mummy used to say "I want, never gets"
