Suffolk_fox Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 Any of you out there that listen to matches on RL Online while chatting on Live Chat know about the time lag, and what a pain in the arse it is when Phube or anyone else says "GOALLLL!", "YESSSSSSSSSSS", "PENO" or "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" (etc) about 30 seconds before you hear anything. Don't get me wrong, I love it when we score - I just like to be able to hear it happen without a spoiler! I asked Mark if we can have a room on Live Chat just for people who are listening to the game online - he said it is possible, but we'd need to spend £30 on the appropriate version of the Chat Software. I think if enough people are interested, it could be worth us stumping up a few quid each by donation to the site. So the question is - who would be interested in an online listeners chatroom??

Darkzzz_ Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 As I can only make around 15-20 games a season I would be very interested in this. If I can't be there, then this is the only other place I would want to be. Obviously if we can can get enough members to commit of course.

Same here, if it did i would just listen to it on my lonesome. Mind you if they made special live chat just for the match i would jump in there and do a spoiler for them, or a least a fake "Gooooooooooooaaaaalll" for them. If it wasn't me that did it someone else would anyway so it is never going to work.

Basingstoke Fox Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 Then people might do what I did during the Stockport away game in august which was with about 10 minutes to go say "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Joking " (then there were about 30 messages saying C**t, T**t etc. ) So everyone would still be pissed off
