Carlos9 Posted 2 January 2009 Posted 2 January 2009 Manchester United sign 2 young unz! any one know anything about them? Says on SSN that one of them wil be a long term replacement for Ryan Giggs. What about Nani?
Jon the Hat Posted 2 January 2009 Posted 2 January 2009 Liverpool would be mad to sell Alonso, not least becuase their skipper is up on an assault charge.
Uncle Albert Posted 2 January 2009 Posted 2 January 2009 Manchester City have agreed an undisclosed fee with Premier League rivals Chelsea for England defender Wayne Bridge. City boss Mark Hughes confirmed the deal on Friday and it is thought the club could pay up to £12m for Bridge. (BBC) Decent buy if goes through. Michael Ball was a weak link in the Man City defence. Still need another centre half I think Micah Richards hasnt been cutting it this season.

What about Nani? I'm not watching SSN at the minute. Who are they? Is it Zoran Tosic and Adam Ljajic? Official Manure site, come to an agreement for Tosic and Ljajic. Over the moon about that Two young players who will definitely be going far in the game

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 If Man City could get the best out of Adriano they'll have got themselves a bargain at £15 million. They won't though. He's got no motivation anymore.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Source:http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ugh/7810560.stm Surely he's good enough to get a decent move should 'Boro get relegated? He could at least stay until the end of the season, help them out of trouble and put a shift in. Twat.

Twat. Yeah, that would seem like the sensible thing to do. It really does go to show that there is absolutely no loyalty in football today though.
Maybes Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Yeah, that would seem like the sensible thing to do.It really does go to show that there is absolutely no loyalty in football today though. Why, he has served them well over the years. Middlesborough are a club going nowhere, although they may go down.
Fosse Boy Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Why, he has served them well over the years. Middlesborough are a club going nowhere, although they may go down. But to throw a hissy fit and hand in a tranfer request at your hometown club when, as you say, he has served them well over the years? That just smacks of greed to me. As MTWG says, finish off your Middlesbrough career with a flourish, then move on to the big bucks/more glamourous club in the summer.

Can't blame him for wanting to better himself and his chances of getting in the england side though surely?
