Anyone in Leicester who has a free evening this wednesday should be getting themselves a ticket to Monotonix at The Musician. If they perform like they normally do it should be an amazing night, beyond fun...

There are still some tickets on Wegottickets where you can avoid Seetickets' ridiculous booking fees.

Wednesday night was mental. In the video below a bunch of us pulled the big bin over and my mate was the guy who ended up jumping off with the singer! Other highlights included the usual drum surfing and dancing on the bar. Oh, and getting literally an entire pint of something poured down the back of my neck...

Going to a gig at 'the looking glass' on Friday.

Anyone ever been?

is that the one in braunstone gate? if so i played an acoustic set there a few years back and it was pretty sweet, seen some other bands there and it' works surprisingly well.

if they have a tape deck on the stage, with a tape wedged in it, could you please try and force it out, as it will contain a recording of my performance

Could you actually see them?

I know the show was supposed to be great but dont see the appeal in stadium gigs.

Every now and then lol.

The show was great. The sound/lights that they beam out really do create a spectacular show. It's non-stop music for about 2 hours (they had like 4 encores!). They rarely stop to talk to the crowd. In between every 5 or 6 songs there'd be a 'Come on Wembley' or 'Let me hear you!' something like that. I loved it.

Was 4 people from the barrier for this! Epic.

Radio 1xtra live was awesome! Well worth watching the highlights on bbc 1 or iPlayer.

Katy B, Devlin, Tinchy Stryder, Pro Green, C-low, Labrinth, Gyptian,Ms Dynamite, Tinie Tempah, Jason Derulo,N Dubz, Roll Deep, B.O.B were all there.

Tinie Tempah was the pick of the bunch, but some great talent in the UK hip hop/ RnB/ Grime scene atm.

Saw Professor Green last night not through choice he just turned up at a random club night. Thought he was poor but then I've never been a fan of his at all and it wasn't exactly a pukka gig, Example came out as well to do Monster again didn't do anything for me. Thank God it was only £4 entry.

wow. just got back from a hell of gig tonight, although i think concert is probably more appropriate.

a-ha and the oslo philharmonic orchestra - it was billed as the performance of the whole of the Hunting high and low album, but they also did the whole of Scoundrel days too.

absolutely amazing.

the queen of norway and one of the princess (the one that talks to angels and dead people) were there and they even stood up at the end and joined in with the slow hand clap for the (sadly refused) encore.

breathtaking stuff, an amazing back catalogue, and morten harket's voice is still first class, a truly unique band.

i encourage anyone to go see their greatest hits tour at the trent fm arena, definitely worth the money, and probably your last chance.
