Uncle Albert Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 It'll cost you £7.50 for an off-peak day travelcard (zones 1-6) without a railcard (according to this, page 6 (4 of 13)). That's the cheapest option, it's not worth doing anything else Cheers. Help's quite abit.
Guest Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Yeah you were talking to LD3 so I sorta looked away until you went Cruel.
Alexikokopops Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Cheers. Help's quite abit. In the future, for Saturday games in London, you can look into getting an Oyster card (£3 deposit), using that to travel around (it always caps the price at 50p less than the cost of a travelcard), then returning it at the end of the day to get your £3 deposit back. You can't do it this time though because the ticket office will be closed by the time you get back to Stanmore.
DB11 Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Cruel. You looked dead happy so I didn't wanna ruin ya day
Simi Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Andy. Jamie is in, but you need to get him a ticket, or someone does.
Darkzzz_ Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Oyster cards are quality. I go to London a few times a year and I always make sure I have my Oyster with me.

Joe. Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 So if I book my train ticket now for the 14:57 people won't change their minds suddenly?
lildave3 Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 I have no idea what's going on. Match tickets/train tickets, i'm utterly baffled.
Guest Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 You looked dead happy so I didn't wanna ruin ya day The other half said I was "hyper".
lildave3 Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 The other half said I was "hyper". I think Nussul said the same after you slapped him
Alexikokopops Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Alex do you work for Tfl now? If you work for TFL I wouldn't be trying to find cheaper deals for you all I discovered today there's a direct train from Harrow & Wealdstone (about ten minutes away from Stanmore) that gets you to Thornton Heath in 50 minutes for about £3. Doesn't run that often though. Unlucky.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 If you work for TFL I wouldn't be trying to find cheaper deals for you all I discovered today there's a direct train from Harrow & Wealdstone (about ten minutes away from Stanmore) that gets you to Thornton Heath in 50 minutes for about £3. Doesn't run that often though. Unlucky. My brother's just been turfed out of his train to London at Bushey because of problems with the electric overhead lines at Harrow & Wealdstone. All the hundreds of times I've been to London and that has never, ever happened to me. He goes down, quite nervous, ahead of his open day at the Brighton Institute of Music tomorrow and that happens. I took him to the station and my Dad is waiting at Euston for him. We couldn't have done any more. Now he's got to go and find a taxi apparently, probably fighting it out with about 50 other people. Crazy. Not 100% relevant but you mentioned Harrow & Wealdstone. Anyway, the problems they're having on that line at the moment make me a bit nervous about next Tuesday. I might head over to Wellingborough and go from there instead. Decisions, decisions.
Guest Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 I think Nussul said the same after you slapped him Daggers taught me that one.
