C-man Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 Fantastic, now just to tot up the cost and make someone come with me. Cheers mate. I'll be there.
Head Honcho Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 The last train back to Bristol from Paddington is half 11. You can get the 2222 train from Thornton Heath station (about 20 minutes from Selhurst I believe) which gets to Victoria at 2246, then the tube or a bus to Paddington (which is 15 minutes by tube or 20 minutes by bus). I'll be doing that because I live in Paddington so you shouldn't get lost. You'll be back at Bristol by 1:45am. Easily do-able Looks like I'll be on this train too as I have to be in Cardiff the day after the game! Much prefer the overnight stay in London to the drunk on the train after a defeat look on the train!
Flynny Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 I'll be there. Yeah I meant from Bristol hopefully. See you there though if I get down.
Bert Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 FAO people going on the train, it could go to Extra time and penalties.
Tubes Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 I hate Steve Howard, Nigel Pearson and Milan Mandaric.
Guest Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 Lisa, Carl, Scoweh, Nick, Nussul, Flynny and DB11 all rolled up. DB11. What?!Where?! Two seats to the left of me. Next to Mikey.
Darkzzz_ Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 Anyone driving through Kettering for this game with room for skinny man. <--------- ME I don't want to drive and I doubt I will get a train back.
Floating Fox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Tommy you not fancy the train? Sorry not spoke earlier been pretty busy lately.
syston_fox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 can anyone give me a rough guess how much the fox travel coach will be to palace, and what time it will leave (roughly) thanks A rough guess.... leave at 2pm and will cost £15 Damn I'm good!
Fosse Boy Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Last train back to Colchester is 03:43, and even then it's only a two hour wait until the next train. I might even flick the V's up at Transport for London and amble my way back to Liverpool Street after the game!
Tommeh Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Tommy you not fancy the train?Sorry not spoke earlier been pretty busy lately. Already got Bert and Tevez in my car, if their train keen and we can make it then I'm game.
Darkzzz_ Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 It looks as though the train could be a very good option for me now. What is the nearest tube to Selhurst Park?

Uncle Albert Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Tom get involved with the train! How much is that going to set me back?
Floating Fox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 How much is that going to set me back? Tenner. (kids) Same as you'd be paying in petrol?
Tommeh Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Tenner. (kids) Same as you'd be paying in petrol? And adults? Tbh I'm very unsure about the kids tickets especially after the Cheltenham fiasco, sure ched will be too. What time you thinking of leaving? My limit would be 3 due to work anyway.
Joe. Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Train is £17 no? And it could go to extra time and penos?
Floating Fox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 And adults? Tbh I'm very unsure about the kids tickets especially after the Cheltenham fiasco, sure ched will be too. What time you thinking of leaving? My limit would be 3 due to work anyway. Double for adults. Fair price I'd say. For that price you can leave at 16:25, 53 & 57.... Maybe before. Anything after is pushing it with rush hour tubeage.
