Alexikokopops Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Looking into the possibility of changing the tickets for a day later which we might be able to do. You usually have to pay £10 admin when you cancel or change tickets. If they cost £10 less then it's not worth it
Katy Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 You usually have to pay £10 admin when you cancel or change tickets. If they cost £10 less then it's not worth it Then Palace should refund the difference. It's wank that they've changed the date, although I appreciate why. They should realise fans will have booked tickets etc.
Joe. Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 You usually have to pay £10 admin when you cancel or change tickets. If they cost £10 less then it's not worth it Yep that's the case. Money down the drain then. Not really sure what else I can do without re-booking the train.
Alexikokopops Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Anyone who has tickets should just pop down to London anyway and have a really expensive pint.
potter3 Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Yep that's the case. Money down the drain then. Not really sure what else I can do without re-booking the train. Last time I changed tickets I actually got money back since the one I changed them to were cheaper
Fosse Boy Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 A bit annoying but I can still make it, would've preferred Tuesday though.
Joe. Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Last time I changed tickets I actually got money back since the one I changed them to were cheaper I'd be paying an extra £20 to change two single tickets though, so it wouldn't be worth doing.
potter3 Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 I'd be paying an extra £20 to change two single tickets though, so it wouldn't be worth doing. Yeah just rang them. Fuck sake
Joe. Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 'Kinell, just going to book two more singles then. <_< C*nts.
SantiagoFox Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 From LCFC OSLeicester City's FA Cup Third Round replay against Crystal Palace has been re-arranged to Wednesday, January 14 (8pm). The tie had originally been scheduled for the Tuesday but due to adverse weather conditions it was advised that the game be delayed to maximize the condition of the Selhurst Park pitch. The Foxes fought out a 0-0 draw against their Championship opponents at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday and the replay will decide who will meet Watford in round four of the competition. From CP OS Crystal Palace can confirm that the third round FA Cup replay tie against Leicester City, which was originally arranged for Tuesday 13th January has been rescheduled for Wednesday 14th January at 8pm. The change is due to the current state of the Selhurst Park pitch, which has suffered from the adverse weather conditions and the extra day will allow the groundstaff the maximum amount of time possible to make it playable. Crystal Palace would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. Did City HAVE to agree to this ? Un-be-effing-lievable!
Guest Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 We've all known for weeks it's going to be pissing cold. Why they didn't think the original date might not be playable is beyond me. I would be fuming if I had bought tickets for this. Looking on the brightside, I can now go to the game. I'm thinking of driving to Wembley Park; am I right in thinking my Oyster card won't work at Thornton Heath?
syston_fox Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Just rang the ticket office to get my tickets and they're pissed off at the change as well! Should be able to swap afternoons off though so shouldnt be too bad for me. Take it your mum won't let you stay out that late Jake?
CosbehFox Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 It's a utter disgrace of an excuse. There's nothing to know yet whether the frost will come on Tuesday night or Wednesday night.

syston_fox Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 If that was the case i wpuld not be laughing. So are you just generally laughing at others misfortune who have already bought their train tickets and will have to fork out to have them changed to the next day.....?

Yeah, you can only use Oyster on some National Rail services and Thornton Heath isn't included. Makes no difference for me this change, but it must be pissing annoying for those that bought their train tickets last night.
JakeShingler Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 So are you just generally laughing at others misfortune who have already bought their train tickets and will have to fork out to have them changed to the next day.....? No, i'm laughing at how much of a joke our club is with re-araging fixtures.
James. Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 I'm all over this like the rash on the left of my stomach.
Alexikokopops Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 I'm all over this like the rash on the left of my stomach. Have a word with Fez, he's getting ours so we're all together
