Raj Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Ive got a 3 incher which i sometimes take out in the cold of night and expose it to the elements. I love it! Nothing better than taking your 3 incher out and having a good yime in the dark with it. Sometimes it can get pretty cold and numb when you are out for a long time. It has a red thing on it which i can aim at what i want to look at and it makes it all BIG!!! It's a refractor telescope you dirty minded bastards!!!! By the wat my Moon sig thing is something i actually took myself!! Not the best but its ok for me!!! Off to look at Uranus now!!! P.S Space centre is a very interesting day out if you've never been.
Smudge Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Is this cpu intensive? Looks interesting. I downloaded it and it immediately was taking 100% but you can change that in the preferences. You can set it to hours in the day when you'll not be using the computer and/or a percentage of the CPU. I have limited to 60% and its working quite well now in the background. I'm doing the old 10dc08af.22476.20522.15.8.181_1 .......................... Seems like there's much to learn,
Corky Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Stop putting words in my quotes, or you'll find yourself severely moderated. I was only having a joke and speaking the truth
Daggers Posted 23 January 2009 Author Posted 23 January 2009 Sir Fynwy's dad helped build it; are you saying his workmanship is below par? That explains a lot...probably got a great big dollop of mud on the lens.

fox123 Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 My Step-dad is somewhat of an Astronomy buff and built his own Observatory in the garden, equipped with some expensive telescope shipped in from America...He often spends many a hour in there much to the delight of my mum, I just think he's spying on his tasty neighbour.

It's the second best thing you can do with a scope. (The first being to look at a picture of your penis)
