This is part of the reason why I've come to dislike it so much - overexposure. The rest of my antipathy comes just from the part of my brain that says, I don't like this song. Personally, I find most, but not all, of SAG's music to be pretty insipid. It just says nothing to me. Neither does the music of Kanye West really. Have another guess.

I understand the overexposure bit, but insipid, its anything but. No problem with people not liking it but lyrically its beautiful whether you like it or not. There are lots of songs I dont like but still think the lyrics are great.
