Get rid, paying a wage (which i would imagine is alot, as ive heard Blackpool won't be signing him unless he take a massive pay cut) is pure madness.

You have put it mildly my friend. D,J. is TOTAL 100% RUBBISH.

Maddog what gets me about your argument is the fact that you keep using Campbells form at another club as a reason to keep him. His form at Leicester in the Championship was shit. What about Howard, did crap for us in the Championship, yet for others like Derby and Luton he did well.

Campbell actually scored more goals than Fryatt in considerably fewer minutes on the pitch in the Championship 2007/2008 and that while suffering from long-term discomfort, so I was told by someone who knew him well.

The lasting problem in judging all our strikers in The Championship is the fact that they had such diabolical service. Psssh got injured meaning we had no specialist wingers and no creative midfielders. No wonder the strikers suffered.

 Please can we close this thread now?

No mate, some people are still stupid enough to ignore the fact that he'd rather be anywhere else than Leicester, words straight from his own mouth. I couldn't care less how many goals he scored or how good his ratio is compared to Fryatt, HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE HERE!

Campbell said he doesn't want to play for Leicester, his exact words were something like "not Leicester, anywhere but there" - so it's kind of like saying you should date an ex-girlfriend purely because she once had nice hair, even though she is now a man-killing lesbian who crushes testicles with customised steel-plated Doctor Martins.

Forget Campbell, seriously. I couldn't give a shit what happens to him.

Couldn't find another DJ Campbell thread. But looks like he has to return to us as opposed to stay at Blackpool for the foreseeable future after Blackpool's caretaker manager has left.

Apparently unsuccessful discussions regarding finances with the chairman led to his departure.

He'll be offloaded in the summer. Pearson will spell it out to him that there's no future for him here.

Glad hes back for now.

If we can't sign anyone else decent i would rather have Dj/Fryatt/Howard/Dickov than just Fryatt/Howard/Dickov.
