Chambers not getting a look in, Barry Hayles can liven things up for the last 25 minutes or so, Fryatt's misfiring recently going back to his lazy ways, Chambers isn't being given a chance and Howard is hardly Fernando Torres. And yet we have this pacy striker on loan, in the division above us, whos bagged 3 goals in 3 games there and could have had more, without even a place on the bench here. Bring him back now i say if possible Didn't take long did it!

His confidence was obviously shot here, much like Fryatt's last season - and look what's happened there. I think DJ is potentially a better option in the division above if he's firing on all cannons, if this loan gets him there - good. I'd like to see him recalled in a few weeks, hopefully after another few productive games. If we do falter at any point I'd want him back pretty quickly.

Raj Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 DJ(although maybe not that young!)needs to get his head sorted out,get some confidence and im sure he can do a job for us!! Atleast he is now hitting that back of the netand some would say against better opposition than in LG1. It does seem that young black players HAVE to hit the ground running at City(i know he aint THAT young!) else they are deemed a failure. Look at Dyer who was getting stick weeks back and young Maxi Boy. I'd sooner have DJ trying to score goals for us than knocking in a few on loan at B'pool!! Gotta be better than fcuking Dickov anyway!!!
