Jimmy Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 why don't we have a winger on the bench when the lad is so obviously struggling, but maybe Pearson has a blind spot to this, I think I'm right in saying he and Dyer were at WBA together, maybe they are pretty close

That probably explains it..
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Gradel is great at skills but loses possesion too much But Gradel will spark something. At the minute, Dyer gets to the full back then just looks utterly useless. A shadow of how he was earlier in the season.
Daggers Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 But Gradel will spark something. At the minute, Dyer gets to the full back then just looks utterly useless. A shadow of how he was earlier in the season. Tiredness plays its part - but there's also the fact that defences try to mark him out of the game.
Jimmy Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Tiredness plays its part - but there's also the fact that defences try to mark him out of the game. well maybe having a proper right winger would help, then the other side wouldn't be able to gamble on all our attacks will be coming down out left flank
lildave3 Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Lloyd looked tired and predictable. Again. Rubbish. I miss the old Lloyd
carterfox90 Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 he needs a rest he has forgotten what a winger is supposed to to - get chalk on your boots son give gradel another go
Thracian Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Gradel is great at skills but loses possesion too much I don't suppose pre-match warm-ups tell a lot but Gradel looked really indifferent last night - like he knew he wasn't playing and had lost his bounce. What a wasted season it must seem to him.
C-man Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Pissed me off when Lloyd trudged off in a sulk when he was subbed. He needs a rest, but he's still a hero.
JoeyB Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 That long walk was shameful. He could of at least done something useful and ran off the **** pitch!
Father Ted Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Dyer should have been dropped a month ago. It's like playing with 10 men at the minute.
