Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Mark Bunn is bloody brilliant. Fantastic news if true. One of the best shot stoppers I've ever seen outside of the Premiership. Have always wanted us to sign him.
Alexikokopops Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Hope your wrong on that one.Better kicking than Martin, taller than Martin, and made some quality saves. Pearson will lose a bit of my respect if he doesn't start him Tuesday. No disrespect to Hartlepool but we are only playing fooking Hartlepool. Who the fooking hell are they We will win the game regardless, even if Porter is in goal You're an absolute tool. Did you even read the first post?

Lineker's Left Foot Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Ok, so who updated Bunn's wiki already.... Well if that can't be believed or we've not signed him afterall, why not punt for Kaspar Schmeichel???? Kaspar Schmeichel .. we'd have you at City
MC Prussian Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Did you not read what he said? Apparently not. Instead, he prefers to read between the lines.
Thracian Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Which Goalkeeper will play against Hartlepool?David Martin..............still injured for at least a week. Paul Henderson out for 12 weeks. Conrad Logan.............Not rated by the people in charge. Expect him to move out on loan soon. Carl Pentney. Thought of as too young. Some of you will sugguest we go for a world class keeeper on loan. Errrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmm like? Lets Say MARK BUNN third choice keeper at Blackburn. Good News is that Tunchevs op went great and he expects to start light training on July the 1st. I'm not doubting you but Logan seemed pretty reliable when keeping clean sheets in our successful relegation battle the season before last. However, if what Fex says about Bunn is true then there's no doubting the wisdom of signing the guy.

Thracian Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Wait til Thracian reads the comment about Pentney being too young. There are very few Peter Shilton's and Pentney's not one of em. Generally keeper's reach their peak a bit later than outfield players and I'd doubt Pentney will be any different. He's always looked a good stop stopper when I've watched him and he's not seemed prone to calamitous errors either. But good goalkeepers need a presence. They need to be commanding. And if the powers-that-be think he's perhaps a little short of those things for the time being then nothing I've seen would serve to dispute it.
Daggers Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 I'm not doubting you but Logan seemed pretty reliable when keeping clean sheets in our successful relegation battle the season before last. And then he grew to my size. And then he became a total twat with Luton. We'll never see him play for City ever again.
FilboFox Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Like this signing... Bunn's a very good keeper... and certainly will be able to hold the fort against Hartlepool and subsequent games in the future.
BlabyFox Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Carlo looks great when he came on on saturday.

Now now, there's no need to swear.
Jimmy Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Knowitall is Nicky Adams having his loan extended or is he coming back this week?
filbertway Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 I'm with Fez here, whenever I've seen Bunn I always wondered why he hadn't been taken by a championship/prem team. Looks a great keeper at this level to me.
Alexikokopops Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 And then he grew to my size. Impossible!
