Lovejoy Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Overrated imo. Haven't slept since Wednesday, planning another heavy weekend too . As someone once said, plenty of time for sleeping when you're dead .
charliefox Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Sleep is amazing I would sleep all day if I didn't have to go to work.
lildave3 Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Surprisingly, I love sleep. But only when it comes to getting up.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Surprisingly, I love sleep. But only when it comes to getting up.

Fox You Forest Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Doesn't really bother if i don't get much, I do love a good lie in on a Sunday though.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 i hate going to sleep and hate getting up, its a normal thing to do sleep is really overated and tonight i'm giving it the finger
Jordan Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 As someone once said, plenty of time for sleeping when you're dead . Keep going on stretches of over two days without sleep, and that chance will come to you before you'd like it to Sleep? Overrated? According to the professionals, absolutely not. And it's such a funny-sounding word, too. Just say it: "sleep." Ha. I've had trouble with sleep before and I'm still not great at getting a consistent good night's sleep. I'm certain a few more well-placed zzzzz's would have made and still would make me a more productive and even more awesome person. The Bush Administration didn't decide to start making their illegally-detained captives at Guantanamo Bay go through sleep deprivation because they wanted those guys to have fun. And The Machinist was a shitty film (unless you are an insomniac and you need something that can actually bore you to sleep). The word going around now is that midday naps are the new greatest thing in the world. I work for a bank, but I've been wondering if I could just head over to the back at around 1:30 for a little shuteye and come back around 3 every day. That's only the busiest time of the day, so I don't think anybody would miss me much. And if my bosses don't take to kindly to my new habit? Well, then I'll get fired and I'll have the afternoon free for naps every day! It's a win-win situation. Well, not really.
Fox You Forest Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 I'm off to bed it's just dawned on me that I've been watching a gardening show for an hour.
Libertine Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 I'm off to bed it's just dawned on me that I've been watching a gardening show for an hour. I know the feeling all too well I'm afraid.
Finnegan Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 I'd love to be asleep right now. Sleep is brilliant. I don't get the people that don't want to sleep. I'm not much of a gothy weirdo but the daytime is generally dull - I'll happily sleep through most of it and then enjoy the drinking hours.
Mr Happy Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Theres alot of people that are either going bed very late or getting up very early. Either way I feel so much better knowing i'm not the only one
cisono Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Overrated imo. Haven't slept since Wednesday, planning another heavy weekend too . As someone once said, plenty of time for sleeping when you're dead . Look at Margaret Thatcher. She only slept a couple of hours a night. Look at what she accomplished! Or is that a bad example?
GLC Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 I lost I can sleep for 12 hours and still sleep more after
DBEightyFive Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 I couldn't do without my sleep especially at weekend. I waste the equivalent of a day of the weekend in bed sleeping.
BoneDog Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 I normally have 4 hours a day but I've just done a 20 hour kip. Canna believe it.
DB11 Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 i hate going to sleep and hate getting up, its a normal thing to do I agree
