Should they be punished with bad views of the match by having to sit at the front so people who want to stand can gather at the back? Don't get me wrong, I much prefer to stand at games and everything but sometimes at away games, that just isn't possible.

Just go to the back, not been a problem for me ever. Of course that creates a problem of more than one person to a seat, but there we go. Until the authroities realise the only way to really solve the problem is to allocate official standing areas in grounds where fans can CHOOSE whether they want to stand or sit. Crazy I know. Preventing people from standing at games doesn't just ruin it for people that want to stand.

At Leeds I had this dilema, I tried to stand at the back but the stewards checked my ticket! So I went back to my original place where I was infront of children of about 6-7 yrs old. I sat as although i wanted to stand I am not an utter C**t. Football these days is not interested in giving "certain" fans waht they want I.E standing & drinking at games because of many things, Holiganism, Hillsborough deaths & the irrasponcable amateur actions which took place at Hilsborough by the police & the cover up which means that those who wish to stand suffer still even 20 years on.

The amount of times we've had 2/3 to a seat etc, this season has been unreal, pretty sure you were near us at Oldham, nobodies tickets were anywhere near same with Orient, Walsall, Scunny were all insane, bodies everywhere. Stood in the aisles for Brighton, front for palace, Rotherham, Hartlepool, then there was Swindon where we were asked to sit, refused and got moved behind the goal where they allowed standing in seats, common sense. Then others such as Hudds, Stockport, Leeds stewards were on at us all game but we refused, when other fans join together there's nothing they can do. If you truely want to stand 99% of the time "where there's a will there's a way applies" but occasionally when all other fans bail stewards will act look at Suas at Preston and Jme at Soton.

But then if the fellas in front of me stand, then I am forced to stand and then it goes back to square one. As Ched said, as long as the authorities won't recognize this problem and try and solve it with either unreserved seatings or standing areas, we'll have this problem forever.
