Talking Balls were all massive last time, I literally bounced off their back four! Me and LD3 looked tiny, they'd eat poor Shingler alive haha. Not that I'm saying he shouldn't give it a go but he should definitely be warned.

They were all pretty average though, apart from one player, who I remember completley cleaning out at one point

Something to tell your great grandkids and further on, people not turning up and going down 2-0 in the first minute and a half. Then the penalties, well what can I say? Everyone who was there that day will hold hand on heart and say that the rival forum battle with blood,sweat and tears.

Nearlly picked up a needless booking for that. We will tear them apart next game with Maybes, Bert and Wilkesy hopefully back in the fold.

You failed to mention the surrender of a two goal lead in the second half......only one team were going to win in normal time.

You had to remind me of that didnt you? Bastard. We were the only team who were going to win the last match, we were a much better technical team to them. All they tried to do was lump the ball on to us and yea it may of worked at points but we could of won by a few goals if we had the shooting boots on.
Flynny Posted 19 March 2009 Posted 19 March 2009 After playing football again for the first time in a while today I'm reminded of the following: 1. I'm pretty appalling 2. I can't control aerial balls 3. I lack a left foot. 4. My only actual attributes at all are being able to run pretty quickly, shaky but not appalling passing, and a cross that occasionally comes off. In conclusion can I play right wing this time? So long as it's on the floor in front of me or hit way over the top I'll get there.

You are putting yourself up for a big fall and needlessly adding to any atmosphere. If we get the same players back, we'll give you more than a game (some of them have played at a decent level). Lump the ball! I clearly remember at least two of the goals coming from passing football.

I think you are the one who is going get a big fall pal, Yea as you said you were missing players against us but we were missing 5 vital players for us last year when we played. Bert, Maybes, Wilkesy, HullFox and the injury to Singh after only a few minutes was a massive blow to us. But we pulled together and played some good stuff. If I remember rightly Tommeh down the right gave your Left back the biggest headahce of his life. Our defence stood strong throughout the match and C-Man was class. We didnt get out of 2nd gear.

Tight for most parts of it.
