purpleronnie Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I think I will go off and slit my wrists at the prospect of a Man Ure v Chelsea final. Lets hope they get drawn against each other later on. Although the alternatives aint much better.
Samilktray Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 That was the best finish I've seen probably all year.
Tilley Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Can't wait until Arshavin is fully fit. But here comes... THEO THEO.
Jordan Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Cov 0 v 2 ChelseaFulham 0 v 3 United Everton 2 v 0 Middlesborough Arsenal 3 v 0 Burnley Not bad.
Joe. Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Win-win situation for the F.A really isn't it with the teams that are left in it. Don't even have to coincidentally 'alter' the outcome of the semi-final draw this time either.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Just seen Eduardo's goal, and you have to admire that technique, awesome finish. Vela's was pretty good too, unlike most strikers that frustratingly hit it low and subsequently have one-on-ones saved, he has the confidence and skill to produce sublime chips.
Koke Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 It's scandalous that the semi finals have to be played at Wembley as well, which then forces fans to buy inflated semi-final tickets in order to be able to buy more inflated tickets for the final. And add to that the food, drinks and everything else inside Wembley - it's a complete rip off. I guess we'll never go back to the days where the semi finals were played at Villa Park and Old Trafford. Neutral grounds and easy access to anyone in the country.
Joe. Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Arsenal/Hull V ChelseaManU V Everton  Now there's a surprise.
Simi Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Arsenal/Hull V ChelseaManU V Everton Sure the United and Everton fans can't wait for their "big" day out in London. Why the semi is at Wembley I'll never know, would make much more sense to play it up North.

Because the FA are douchebags who need to recoup the money they made from building the stadium and feel that the best way to do it is to rip off the people they have the most contempt for, the fans. When we played Sheffield United away last year me and my mates stayed over in Sheffield and went back on the Sunday morning, on a slow train to London full of Barnsley fans on their way to the semi-final. They couldn't get a train direct from Barnsley to London on a Sunday. Utterly ridiculous, the suits who run football really do not give a shit.
James. Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Absolute pleasure to watch Man United on Saturday. Was sat 6 rows from the front so had a great view of the game. Probably the best attacking performance I've seen live, the passing and movement and attacking in numbers was superb. Tevez best player for me but always got time for Park and though Evans was class when he came on. United fans were good although not AS good as I thought they'd be. Decent atmosphere overall though bearing in mind it was Craven Cottage. That is apart from those stupid paper clapping things they gave everyone before the game, the Fulham fans looked like right nobs banging those up and down every time something happened.
