Phube Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 WHY? Just why? What's the point? You can't even see them!! Do you really think people look at your car and go... "Cool, (s)he drives with fogs on... and it's clear! They're my hero!" I just don't get it... Some one on here must do it, just please explain the benefit of it to me, I'll be ever so grateful! Yours hopefully, Phube.
Floating Fox Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 You.. err.... might want to find something worth getting your nicks in a twist for.
Daggers Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I always have my puppies on because you car drivers never look properly.
DB11 Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Don't some cars have the lights automatically turn on when the engine's on and you can't turn them off??? What I heard anyway
Katy Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Don't some cars have the lights automatically turn on when the engine's on and you can't turn them off??? What I heard anyway Volvos I believe.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Don't some cars have the lights automatically turn on when the engine's on and you can't turn them off??? What I heard anyway Yes, but I don't think the fogs lights are turned on aswell though.
stez Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Don't some cars have the lights automatically turn on when the engine's on and you can't turn them off??? What I heard anyway Volvos I believe. aye, volvo's but it's only the side lights. people who leave their rear fog lights on are more annoying than the, stupid, ice blue brigade.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 It's so that they look fooking hardcore. If you ain't got your fogs on you ain't nobody. NOBODY I TELL YOU!!
Hullfox Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 You.. err.... might want to find something worth getting your nicks in a twist for. Spend as much time on the roads as I do and you too might get your nicks in a twist over these nobheads.
Head Honcho Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Had some clown up my arse today with his on I decided to stick the anchors on a little whilst I was overtaking so he got a bit irate, then when I decided not to pull over and let him overtake me he tried to undertake me but I managed to give it some throttle and got him boxed in Laugh I nearly pissed myself
Phube Posted 9 March 2009 Author Posted 9 March 2009 Come on there's a big enough cross section on FT to have at least one fog-lit poster!! Admit to what you do... and please explain it to me...
stez Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Come on there's a big enough cross section on FT to have at least one fog-lit poster!! Admit to what you do... and please explain it to me... my money's on matt
dandannieldanok Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Unrelated to fog lights, but last Thursday we were driving behind someone in a black fiesta at about half 7 at night with no lights on at all.
Webbo Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 It's just possible that someone put their foglights on when it was foggy and forgot to switch them off.
stez Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 It's just possible that someone put their foglights on when it was foggy and forgot to switch them off. they should be sent off to the sahara the forgetful fvckers
Daggers Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I don't have a problem with fogs - I have a problem with those cvnts who have the dumb super-bright white lights.
Tommeh Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I don't have a problem with fogs - I have a problem with those cvnts who have the dumb super-bright white lights. Bingo. bi Xenon headlights, standard on all the BMW's, Audi's etc. theses days. I always think they have full beams on so flash them for blinding me.
lookwhaticando Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Volvos I believe. Yes, but I don't think the fogs lights are turned on aswell though. Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) are required on vehicles in Scandinavia, which is why Volvo's the world over have them. It's also required in Canada. In all cases where DRLs are required, there is a limit as to how bright they can be - regular fog lamps are far too bright to be used as DRLs.
Big Al Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 it only bugs me when they have there foggers on at night and blind ya they may aswell have full beam on all the time
Floating Fox Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Spend as much time on the roads as I do and you too might get your nicks in a twist over these nobheads. I do spend a fair amount of time on the roads (Delivery driver) and Don't get my nicks in a twist, but ridiculously bright lights, they do. Espcially when I work most of the time at night. The multi-coloured ones also get on my tits

The multi-coloured ones also get on my tits I left home at 4am yesterday and before daylight, I counted over 30 sets of unnecessary fog lights on the roads. Twats.
lavrentis Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 I don't have a problem with fogs - I have a problem with those cvnts who have the dumb super-bright white lights. And them bloody blue ones, they annoy me. Another driving related matter that annoys me is the complete idiots in the land rovers who dont pull a slight inch to the side of the road when you are driving a long a small road, or the ones that bomb straight past you.

Par the the course around these parts eh. I have learnt not to give in to them now though and let them go off road, it is infact why they have these cars...isn't it?
