DB11 Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Was it just the equivalent of our Sunday League though?
Kilworthfox Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Was it just the equivalent of our Sunday League though? Does that matter?
Matt Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Was it just the equivalent of our Sunday League though? Ah that makes it alright then.
DB11 Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Does that matter? No but it doesn't seem news worthy. It's in IRAQ it's hardly out of the ordinary. Now if it happened in the Premiership it'd be very different......
Matt Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 No but it doesn't seem news worthy. It's in IRAQ it's hardly out of the ordinary. Now if it happened in the Premiership it'd be very different...... :crylaugh: Not laughing at the situation, I'm laughing at how DB11 is justifying it. Now if it was a referee that had been shot.....
Brainy Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 No but it doesn't seem news worthy. It's in IRAQ it's hardly out of the ordinary. Now if it happened in the Premiership it'd be very different...... i'd stop now before you make yourself look a bigger twat.
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 March 2009 Author Posted 15 March 2009 I just thought it was worthy of a post. Imagine going to score the equaliser only to be snuffed out. Gutted.
DB11 Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 :crylaugh: Not laughing at the situation, I'm laughing at how DB11 is justifying it. Now if it was a referee that had been shot..... That would actually be very different because referees at all levels are required for the game to go ahead. Without them there would be no game and so they should be respected etc.
Matt Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 That would actually be very different because referees at all levels are required for the game to go ahead. Without them there would be no game and so they should be respected etc. And if players were shot, there would loads of games wouldn't they?
Shrenchel Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 No but it doesn't seem news worthy. It's in IRAQ it's hardly out of the ordinary. Now if it happened in the Premiership it'd be very different...... Is your mother proud of you?
Kilworthfox Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 That would actually be very different because referees at all levels are required for the game to go ahead. Without them there would be no game and so they should be respected etc. What happend in your life for you to have the views you claim to have on FT?
Brainy Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 And if players were shot, there would loads of games wouldn't they? Look, so long as the referee doesn't get shot, there's no point making a thread about it. Afterall, players getting shot in football matches in Iraq is not uncommon. in DB World.

Then the robots will come in, and thats when the game will become fair again.

Corky Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Danny, are you saying this to get a reaction, or do you genuinely believe what you are saying?
DB11 Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Danny, are you saying this to get a reaction, or do you genuinely believe what you are saying? It's still bad that a player got shot but it's hardly surprising that it's happened in Iraq rather than the Premiership et al is what I'm saying.
Brainy Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 It's still bad that a player got shot but it's hardly surprising that it's happened in Iraq rather than the Premiership et al is what I'm saying. Yes it is surprising though, I can't remember any other Iraqi footballers killed in action.
StanSP Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 And if players were shot, there would loads of games wouldn't they? . No matter who it is or where the shooting happened, it's still not on. there's no justifying it at all.
DB11 Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Yes it is surprising though, I can't remember any other Iraqi footballers killed in action. Not as surprising as if it were to happen in the Premiership?
Edmund Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Not as surprising as if it were to happen in the Premiership? It doesn't matter where in the world it happened? Even if it happened in the gaza strip I still would be surprised.
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 March 2009 Author Posted 15 March 2009 Wow, I blame myself for DB11's stupid reaction!
