I'm in northamptonshire and i go to wellingborough tickets complex at ringstead. some huge ones in barkers and brightwells apparantly. Carp fishing i go to biggin lake which is in the middle of oundles golf course. I love a bit of a fish!!

Gt Ouse and Lt Ouse,Cambs,ive only just started again this year after a 15yr stop gap.Might try a bit of carp fishing this summer,but a lot to learn and buy. Ive really got the bug again,quite a few say its boring,but i can get away from everything and relax.the feeling when you get that big fish is the same as when i used to score at football albeit very rarely!

I wanted to try a few years ago after she had the kids cos i thought it might be easier , y'know, with her being stretched an' all that. But she refused point blank. I couldn't even try if I used KY. I know a couple of guys who've done it. said it was difficult at first but once you get in past the initial resistance and ignore the shouts of "no please, not too much, go slowly" things get a bit wetter and it's all good, apart from the smell of fish... OH... I thought this was a FISTING thread... sorry

Anyone got any tales of the oceans? or rivers. I went sea fishing years ago in Newquay with 12 mates.We had had a skin full of beer the night before, which was not ideal.Acouple of the lads took the piss out of the captain before we were even on the boat, as he looked like that bloke off Emmerdale with the bushy beard(he might not be on it now.2 mates heaved before we left harbour followed by 8 more within 30 minutes,including me.We had the boat to ourselves and it was booked for a whole day!Now the captain after the piss taking was loving seeing us suffer,and i cant blame him,after a couple of hours we all thought we were going to die,and asked if we could go back ,and as we had paid our money,he could take the rest of the day off.He said "im the captain,i decide when the boat goes back"one of my mates who was in a bad way,jumped up grabbed the captain and in a moment of comedy gold said "if you dont turn this fooking boat round this minute,there will be fooking mutiny on board"bad news for the captain was as my mate had been sitting and throwing all morning as soon as he stood up and said his bit,he threw over the captain.At this point we went back to shore.i will never go again.We caught bugger all as we just sat on deck spewing without fishing.

My mate who is into it in a big way has put 50kg of groundbait in this week,fook me that must have cost him a fortune.
