Cause I'm not ****ing laughing, Nicholas. Haha. I quoted that in the movie quotes thread a few weeks ago, I love that line. My favourite line in Lock, Stock. I think it's the way he says Nic-o-larse! In Bruges is a lot more mellow than Lock, Stock but it's still an absolutely cracking film for the banter. Love it.
Thracian Posted 1 April 2009 Author Posted 1 April 2009 2 : And if my prediction came true I would be fighting only to try and keep my loved ones and neighbours safe if it came to it. In my opinion everyone of every race/culture should stick together against the people who are ruining our lives. Now there's an interesting concept. Pity it doesn't seem to be practical.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090402/tuk-d...h-6323e80.html# Old people, total menace, costs the NHS tens of millions every year, and now their running people over. When is it going to stop thats what I want to know, when?
Head Honcho Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 How would they know that he wasn't safe?Just because he suffers from schizophrenia doesn't mean he is going to be violent in the future. Ive said it once and il say it again, hindsight is such a wonderful thing. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/213981.stm Hindsight is wonderful yes but totally fvcking useless!
Edmund Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Hindsight is wonderful yes but totally fvcking useless! Exactly, thanks for proving my point.
Thracian Posted 2 April 2009 Author Posted 2 April 2009 http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090402/tuk-d...h-6323e80.html#Old people, total menace, costs the NHS tens of millions every year, and now their running people over. When is it going to stop thats what I want to know, when? Yes and let's arrest everyone on camera who's ever been seen to move out carelessly from a tee junction! As if the elderly aren't victimised enough as it is. Soon it will totally illegal to be ill, infirm or even to die. Remember those "enjoy your retirement ads? Soon the poor bastards: Won't be able to drive. Won't be able to travel abroad if they have a medical condition cos of insurance. Won't be able to do work cos they are taking jobs needed for the young. Won't be able to stay up after curfew. Won't be able to weigh over 10 stones. Won't be able to live beyond 60 if their house is needed by an asylum seeker. Well, looking round me I see lots of young people who are too sodding fat to turn and look in their blind spot, are too slow-witted to react quickly in an emergency, too short-sighted to see beyond the end of their cocks, never move from the centre lane whatever, can barely see over the top of their steering wheel and are so shit at driving anyway it wouldn't matter if they had 20-20 vision and were in the rudest of health. As usual the action of one idiot prompts over-reaction that aims to penalise everyone else. Even if there was a much simpler tri-annual driving test for those over 65 there would doubless be a hidden campaign to victimise the elderly. It's time the elderly developed a proper voice and the determination to stop people pushing them around and restricting their lives unfairly. I sympathise with the victim's family. You could lock the culprit up for life for what he did. Firstly for causing death and secondly for potentially making life a damned sight more difficult for everyone else with his stupidity. But what he did has nothing to do with anyone else.
Flynny Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 As usual the action of one idiot prompts over-reaction that aims to penalise everyone else. Jackpot! Nicely played Manwell.
