stez Posted 1 April 2009 Posted 1 April 2009 I think it was Stingray and Sonic who did the Cold as Ice original hardcore tune.I preferred hardcore from 90-93 but still listened to new stuff up to 96 then just jungle after that time. 90-95 were the best raves I reckon Love the Scout leader at 3.20 been ravin for 12 hour solid. Classic tune at 4.09 i had so may c90 tapes full of this stuff, my favourite was a rolf harris one! also; i aspire to be a latter day version of the old timer on 3.20!

Same here, about a year ago I chucked about 300 of em in the dustbin. Still got 100 odd left from 90-93. One of me mates was at that rave and seen that old dude! Was the Rolf Harris tune 'Two Little Boys'?
Edmund Posted 1 April 2009 Author Posted 1 April 2009 That video is quality, especially the scout leader Police would never let anything like that happen these days. Got some old tapes from my sister with similar stuff to this. Billy bunter, Ratpack, Sy etc @ El empty, do you know anywhere online where you can download some old skool sets? I chucked about 300 of em in the dustbin. How come?

James. Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Very jealous of you lot who were around for the early 90's raves. Meanwhile back to hip hop - doesn't get much better than this:
StanSP Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Hanson - Mmm Bop Sorry if already been mentioned. Aqua - Barbie Girl, Dr Jones. Embarrassed that I'm putting these down. Classics nevertheless.
Libertine Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Probably because you're older than me... By 6 months....
Head Honcho Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 First heard this in Ibiza in 87 I think it was and bought it as soon as I got home. Strings of Life
Ultra Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Shut Up and Dance - Raving I'm Raving. Can't find the original version anywhere on the net though...
