Guest Posted 28 July 2009 Posted 28 July 2009 I wear em. Don't like wearing them and I don't look a nob in them thankfully either. Thankfully it's driving, watching small televisions from a distance (normally in a bar) and watching football but I can tell I am going to need them permo. There's some bird who wears these outrageous big 'uns in Tin Fish Shoes. Hubba Hubba! Laser eye surgery is the future.
MikeyT Posted 28 July 2009 Posted 28 July 2009 Makes no difference to me if a girl wears glasses or not. If she's nice she's nice. End of.

Guest Bilo Posted 28 July 2009 Posted 28 July 2009 Girls with glasses I have no problem with. The trouble is I also wear glasses and I have had too many incidents of 'glasses clash' while kissing. Taking me bins off is just too sensible.
C-man Posted 28 July 2009 Posted 28 July 2009 I used to wear glasses, in fact I have the most ridiculously bad eye sight and will get laser eye surgery when I can afford it, but making the decision to wear contacts full-time was one of the best decisions I ever made.
CosbehFox Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 Laser eye surgery is the future. Uncle had it and it makes him look a right nobber. Also noticed some fella I am working with had it and now he's gone all crossed eyed. Daren't try contacts...swimming...infections and all that.

Same here, although I have had some 30 day continous wear ones in my eyes for the past three months as I can't afford to get any more at the moment. I think I'm going to have to resort to the glasses at some point, I'm not a big fan of wearing them though really.

Your quite lucky, I can't wear lenses for more then 12 hours, my eyes really dry up, so unfortunately I can't wear lenses all the time!!

CosbehFox Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 Apparently I look more smarter, more intelligent yet the same time more angry!

Them contacts I tried, but my eyes are too dry I have the Oasys contacts now, so if I fall asleep in them it doesn't matter, but I just wear them daily. They are more comfortable, except when they dry out, which seems to be quite quickly / often
lcfc_jme Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 Well, I look stunningly beautiful now. Seriously. True story.
Teece Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 Mad how way back in the day (well, when I was at school...) there was a bit of a stigma attached to wearing glasses, and plenty ammunition for taking the **** , 'speccy four-eyes' and all that... wheras nowadays its not an issue really, or is even the opposite really - some people want to wear glasses when they dont even need to Glad its gone that way Mind you, I would say that as I'm blind as a bat, and wear glasses myself I'm into buying the coloured contact lenses at the min, got them in allsorts of colours
General Smuts Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 I love girls with glasses, they don't complain so much when you spunk in thier eye. Natural protection.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 I love girls with glasses, they don't complain so much when you spunk in thier eye. Natural protection. They might complain about the lenses getting cloudy though, then you end up having to pop down to Specsavers to get some lens cleaner. It can be brilliant standing in the queue thinking 'Yeah. I'm a stud and none of you lot have a scooby.'
