Respect on Monday

seeing as we're pointing the finger and the cvntish element of the Leeds fans I have a question for my fellow Leicester fans but 1st let me set the scene.

we are away to Chelsea and the poison Dwarf has died and they are having a minuets silence, do you not think that a fairly large minority of our "fans" would disrupt it? I honestly don't know the answer seeing how hated he is by our fans

I wouldn't disrupt it and whilst I feel nothing but hate of the man I'd stay silent out of respect for the people at Chelsea who idolised him and would want a minute to think on their memories etc. If Robbie Savage wrapped his 911 round a tree the week before we play Tottenham, I'd want their fans to keep their traps shut out of respect for the City fans who are remembering a legend.

I understand what the Leeds guy is saying about Best, Charlton etc but I'd argue that in playing for the biggest club in the country and one of the biggest in the world, Charlton (B) and Best are better known than Jackie and many of the other great Leeds players. Keith Weller was one of our greatest players, very under-rated in his day, and I'll bet half the people who ever watched him play don't even know he died but I wouldn't expect national mourning because his status countrywide was lower than many other top flight players.

Wasn't much respect in town last night.

Kicked off in Yates' with a few Leeds vs Leicester scuffles and some of them were singing about some place called Yorkshire in Walkabout.

England players still wore black armbands the week Weller died, though - even if this had more to do with Emlyn Hughes, who also passed away at around the same time.

Nothing to do with Turkey.

Think everything passed very well in which was a great game, pretty good atmosphere & a bloody fantastic result. :D :D
