Smiffy Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I don't post on here much...just do the "lurking" thing for the most part. But, wanted to say how much this forum means to me as a Foxile with this site being the only way to stay in touch with whats going on around the club and getting the general feel around the club. To Mark and everyone that makes this site possible...THANK YOU!!! I'm so proud to be a city fan today and have nobody to share it with except this forum because nobody truly understands. BL'ARMY (I'm also a little pisshhed)
lou Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Liking this post......... I do think this is an incredibly well-ran forum and seems to be a lot more welcoming than any others Ive tried.. Posted on some before and it takes weeks for anyone to respond to anything you post (if ever!) , they judge you on how many time youve posted, how many games you go to or how long youve been a supporter. If youre not part of the "Clique" then you might as well forget it. A lot of you have obviously met many times and know eachother well but you dont ignore other posters either. This is the 1st one Ive found where you can generally express an opinion without someone being abusive and confrontational and people will respond with a genuine point of view and encourage a debate with others who may not agree. Obviously theres always gonna be some idiots but I really havent seen much evidence of that on here. Its nice to have found somewhere Ive felt able to talk to fellow City fans online without being subjected to abuse and harrassment (I get enough of that at home!) Thanks to all who run the site - its appreciated
AjcW Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I reckon ours is the best looking forum, easiest to navigate and all that, you go on some of the prem ones and you cant find your way around anywere.

lcfc_jme Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I think FoxesTalk plays a role in the enjoyment of games which is just as important as the players for me. The forum has led me to meet so many great people and I now have some good friends which I wouldn't otherwise have even known were it not for this place. And because of this, I'm sorted for away games all across the country for many years to come now. Brilliant. Major kudos to everyone that runs this site, very much appreciated.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Great to see you briefly Sparks, your missus looked as chuffed as everyone else, is she a City fan? Would have liked to have had a chat with Frenzied in the pub but it was all a bit of a blur, nice to meet you though mate.

She never missed a game during the 90s and early 00s but she used to go with her mum who then stopped going , i think after yesterdays events she may be back on it

Crusing around Southend with 6 in the car was rather amusing
Daggers Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Would have liked to have had a chat with Frenzied in the pub but it was all a bit of a blur, nice to meet you though mate. I've never known two people grin so much as them.
Sparky Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I've never known two people grin so much as them. I think they only planned to stay for a couple but im sure they were still there around 9ish , both pissed . Good lads !!
Scow Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I never thought when Foxestalk was set up about 5 years ago that it would be this successful. It took time for the forum to get going, but over time, it's got better and better and I've met some great people from here. It certainly enhances the away day experience. Mark has done an unbelievable job with the forum and this is without doubt the best one on the net. Let's hope we have a good turn out post Scunneh!
syston_fox Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 This is why I love Foxestalk: Obviously promotion was brilliant but celebrating it with so many people you know was something out of this world. Thanks to everyone who helped make yesterday so memorable!

Cat Burger Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 PAPILLION!!!!! What a place.Did one of your mates get knoshed by some mess of a woman? Just innocent necking and a thirty year age gap I think he was trying to teach Smuts a lesson in real horrible smut. I liked it how you all left when Pet Shop Boys came on...Homophobes. The best part of the night was being able to show off my five octave range to Bon Jovi, shame he didn't play 'Always (the extended drama version)' like I asked.
Durnerz Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 As most of you know I rarely turn out down the City now due to work commitments but seeing these pictures of the day makes me proud of what a great forum this is, some may know me from the matches we have on the park every now and again which I really enjoy and its great how everyone gets along. Some great characters on this forum and maybe i'll make it to the next promotion bash
