The People's Hero Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 Must be enthusiastic to watch us that far away. OLE! 1-0 to the Hullster!
Pegosteve Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 Plenty of balls walking into a Leeds pub in his kit, or stupid (probably the latter)! Know of him from his York days, weve only seen one Stockdale turn up to date, Im not convinced he is a Championship keeper, not sure how well he would cope under pressure. Personally think we need someone with experience, I like the idea of Carlo Nash.
lildave3 Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 Wasn't impressed with his first spell, thought he was shit against Tranmere. But since he's come back in he's done ok and he's growing on me.
Kilworthfox Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 The bulge in his trousers hasn't gone down, so I would say so!!! As long as your pleased Lou, i'm pleased!!! Are these the kind of moves you will be laying down tomorrow night Dr Dr?
JoeyB Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 I like him. But Joe Hart or Kasper Schmiechal (sp) would be great coups
Kilworthfox Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 Not been convinced by him. IMO his best game was against Leeds, before that he was very shaky. We can do better
Fox92 Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 He's hardly crap though is he? Fair enough he was a bit shaky at the start but by the time he got injured he was much more commanding of his area and seemed to have a good understanding and communication with the back 4. Anyway, as i said earlier, personally I'd welcome either Martin/Stockdale back here next season Agreed. Both goalkeepers have shown they can make it at a higher level. I am big fans of both Martin and Stockdale.
Alexikokopops Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 His head is too small for his body. He reminds me of a Goomba from the Super Mario Brothers film
kimsalabim Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Still have my doubts about him, but he's clearly a decent keeper. There's loads of keepers around this summer so we can have a choice. I've said it before in another thread but I'd like one of David Martin, Joe Murphy, Owain Fon Williams or Lee Camp to be our no 1 next season. Owain Fon Williams should be regarded as a definate purchase... Though i think Ipswich were afer him... tho since Roy Keane has taken over, who knows? Then again, Fon williams is Wales' no2 keeper, so he might pay 10million for him like he did scotland's no2 while he was at Sunderland... Joe Murphy would be a good option but i somehow think that after tonight, Scunny will sneak up through the playoffs... To be honest, if Fon Williams was not available... I would go for Stocky-D
