lefox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I know there are some stewards in here... So what's the chances I'm going to be ejected / told off for taking my slr camera for some pics tonight..
syston_fox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Depends if you want in game shots or for the celebrations afterwards I would imagine.
lefox Posted 24 April 2009 Author Posted 24 April 2009 The whole frikking lot.. I just get the feeling it won't be tolerated.. Plus I've never seen anyone do it at filbo or walkers..
Ozwin Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 People have always got digital cameras, what's the difference really?
lefox Posted 24 April 2009 Author Posted 24 April 2009 Well if it's not confiscated and assuming I get the right ligthing and settings etc.. I'll upload a link for all of you to enjoy.
Darkzzz_ Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I am taking mine tonight. I have been rejected from so many grounds because of my camera but I emailed the club and they said as long as it is a standard lens they will accept it. My telephoto lens is getting sneaked in, it is not that big, just right to fit in the missus bag. I am making the most of this!!
lefox Posted 24 April 2009 Author Posted 24 April 2009 Ah mines 14 x zoom but just as a standard lens... a digital camera if anyone asks!! Thanks for that, and good work emailing the club by the way.
Matt Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I won't get the best quality pictures as its a shit camera but i'll just use my phone camera I think, I have a digi camera but don't have a huge memory stick (Something I should really invest in) and the memory card is full anyway and could do with emptying but can't be arsed to do it
Darkzzz_ Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Mines a 55-300mm zoom.. It sure extends a little but I should be ok. I usually just have to settle for photos on my phone but give me my camera any day, at least that way I can get the shots I want. May even get away with a low ISO tonight in these current weather conditions.

Smerklo Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Do you reckon I'll be alright with a normal digital camera?
lefox Posted 24 April 2009 Author Posted 24 April 2009 F**k this.. I'm going to ring the club right now... RAAAAHHH.. back in 10
MC Prussian Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I'm taking my 450D along tonight, as well. Excuse me, but for once they just have to let people in with slightly more professional-looking cameras. However, I wonder if I'll actually be able to take pics at all or whether I'll be simply too distracted by the game and the atmosphere.
lefox Posted 24 April 2009 Author Posted 24 April 2009 Ok, the official line from our beloved club.. Ground rules state there are no cameras allowed. However, if it can fit in your pocket no one is any the wiser.. I'm going out to purchase the biggest f*king camera I can find, the size of a samll tank, eject me if you dare!!!
CosbehFox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 However, I wonder if I'll actually be able to take pics at all or whether I'll be simply too distracted by the game and the atmosphere. I take one to most away games with me. After taking a couple, I just feel awkward and strange - so I generally forgot and concentrate on the game.
Smerklo Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I'm going to take my digital one, should be alright. Mainly going to take some snaps of the trophy celebrations, not being pessimistic but it might be a while before we get to see another!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I always take my Digital Camera to away games... I didn't realise such a fuss was made. I will be taking the camera tongiht for the trophy presentation and parade round the pitch... that isnt in the Football Leagues TV contract, they can go anf **** theselves
Mr Happy Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I'm going to take my digital one, should be alright. Mainly going to take some snaps of the trophy celebrations, not being pessimistic but it might be a while before we get to see another! I was thinking this very same thing earlier, though hopefully we'll be lifting another trophy next season
Darkzzz_ Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Well if people get the ass with me taking photos or I get threatened to be kicked out then I won't be too happy, surely the club will let us have it for tonight.
Ozwin Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 If you were filming the game I could see why they'd not be happy but taking pictures is fine surely? I've never seen anyone get kicked out for it before and there's always people with cameras snapping away all game.
