Manwell Pablo Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 I actually went alot more when we were shit thinking about it. Being shit I can tolerate. Playing against a team playing Gifron Noel Williams as they're loan striker I just cannot handle.

Joes_XR3i Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 I am a fan of the football and Leicester city but I pay my money to be entertained by them last season they did not and were playing some of the most boring football I have ever seen us play;Thats what kept me away from watching games as they were so boring and predictable that I would rather spend my money on something else. This season the spark is back and we are entertaining again so I am paying my money to watch, everyone can't always be hardcore fans as most of us who post here are fans who go to a lot of matches I maybe go to about 5 a season due to the sheer cost of getting to Leicester from Essex and tickets, pie, programme etc. So what if the stadium was full for people to come and see the trophy presented it is an auspicious occasion and one for everyone who is a follower of LCFC to enjoy all those people who expect 30000 hardcore fans to turn up week in week out please get a life it ain't gonna happen. I enjoy watching Leicester play but if they start to play boring uninteresting football then I would rather spend my money on something else.Look at this from another angle LCFC is just a brand name now, a business, if this business fails to perform why keep buying the product. People will always say about loyalty to the club yes these are valid points BUT I pay Leicester for a service which is to entertain me - if they fail to do this then I won't bother giving them my money. Yet another angle imagine going to a strip club and paying for a private dance and the girl didn't even get her knockers and bacon mudflaps out would you buy again I think not.
sbfox Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 CUT To me the whole point of supporting a team is about supporting them through thick and thin, not just when they play entertaining football (note how entertainment in your context is synonymous with 'winning' - the two aren't one and the same!)
Joes_XR3i Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 To me the whole point of supporting a team is about supporting them through thick and thin, not just when they play entertaining football (note how entertainment in your context is synonymous with 'winning' - the two aren't one and the same!) I agree with you support them through thick and thin but take a look at last season for example the football was really boring for most of the season hoof and hope football but this year is different I like to be entertained when I go to the Walkers stadium not fall asleep. I cheer and make lots of noise when I go and I keep myself abreast of the news in the club but I gotta a mortgage to pay and I can't afford £100 a time it cost me and the missus to go football but people mocking other fans for not going week in week out is IMHO out of order. And back to your point about playing entertaining football yes this is the service I pay Leicester City Football Club for I have seen some exciting score draws and exciting close defeats for us I go to football for entertainment purely if they don't deliver the goods then I don't pay like long periods of last season I would rather watch paint dry than watch us if i was a glory boy football supporter I would support Arsernal or Chelsea but true to my origins I support LCFC fan. At the end of the day last season Leicester weren't selling so I wasn't buying now they are selling again i'm buying

davieG Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Didn't we have our only full house on the last home game last season when we where truly shite and struggling to stay up. I didn't see anyone complaining about all the part-timers turning up then
lcfc_jme Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 L1 is epic. It looked mental from the West Stand for the Scunneh game. Even Indie Sarah thought it'd have been brilliant to be in. I'd be there a) if I didn't hate home games and b) were I not probably still banned.
Shrenchel Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Yet another angle imagine going to a strip club and paying for a private dance and the girl didn't even get her knockers and bacon mudflaps out would you buy again I think not. If youre going to watch some random team you dont give a fook about sure, but with city surely youve already got a lot of emotion and connection with the club? Its more like if you were madly in love with a bird, even she wouldnt give the goods til the point where your balls were blue and your dong was about to snap off, youd still keep coming back for the heavy petting and quick peek under the bra.
Koke Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Uncle Albert hit the nail on the head 8 pages ago. People moan when fans stay away and we only get 21.000 and people moan when we sell out and get a full house.
RAFRUDY Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 I was in m1 last night , you lot are a fu*king embarrasment to leicester city football club. fans??????? Last night you bleated "where were you when we were shit" to family , season ticket holders, part timers and a host of 'old boys' who were ready to ......... my point is ,season ticket snobbery aside, you are out of you're depth. PENIS.
