Ric Flair Posted 3 May 2005 Posted 3 May 2005 Don't be surprised to see Lee Miller here if we can afford him. He's on loan at Hearts but belongs to Brizzle City. He's been sensational for the jambos since he's been there and they can't afford him. Brizzle want £400,000 for him and according to another site Levein seems keen after overhearing him at the awards bash. Only 21 and had a mare at Brizzle but scored alot at Hearts and Rangers are also sniffing ala Novo. We need to get in there quick. Lee, Lee, Lee Miller

Chimp Posted 3 May 2005 Posted 3 May 2005 Bristol!!! 102483 That should have been... 'Bristol, my lovely'...
Mark Posted 3 May 2005 Posted 3 May 2005 He couldn't get in Bristol City's team earlier in the season, and his goalscoring record last season in League 1 isn't too impressive, 9 goals in 40+ games http://www.heartsfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/S...0.html?ptvParm=

I've seen some of his goals for Hearts and they are class. I'd take a chance on him, he's the link up man we need to play with Connolly. Very good in the air and not an oil tanker like the other target men we have had.
Wellman Posted 3 May 2005 Posted 3 May 2005 Would be a great Signing IMO 102475 AYYYYYYY!!! Long time no see matey!

If he dosent end up at Tynecastle - and I'm sure he will - then his most likely destination is Ibrox.
New England Fox Posted 4 May 2005 Posted 4 May 2005 Up until recently I worked with a bunch of Bristol City fans, and they all think hes shite!
Ric Flair Posted 12 May 2005 Author Posted 12 May 2005 According to reports up in Scotland, Hull, Leicester, Aberdeen and Hearts are all after him. Hearts are in turmoil though, Abderdeen are skint. Hull are trying to sign Sam Parkin as their first choice, so that leaves us!! Come on craig get this lad in. Just been called up to the national squad aswell. 11 goals in 20 starts for Hearts, not bad really. The target man we need.
gjp Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 I live in bristol and the bristol city fans who work with florida fox are correct "he is shite"
BartonFox Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 He's 21 moved from Falkirk to Bristol when he was 18/19 after being a leading scorer in the Falkirk First Division winning team of 2 years ago. But for the SPL's daft ground rules he'd have played in the top flight. Sadly Falkirk were denied promotion and off he toddled to Bristol. He isn't the first or last teenager to make a relatively big move and have not work out. Doesn't mean he is shite, especially if Walter Smith see's fit to put him in at the deep end.

His record speaks for itself overall. 110 starts 43 goals. He had a rough season at Brizzle, but he's inform at the minute and if you saw some of his goals he has scored you'd be impressed. He scored a Collymore type volley (ala Sunderland) for Hearts a month or so ago, shit hot.

Jonbluefox9 Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 Mark de Vries' record at Hearts was about a goal every other game but according to most Leicester fans, he's useless (not my sentiments). Why should this lad who's scored goals in the same division against the same opposition be any better?

Katy Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 Well, whatever people say, he's tipped to be called up to the Scotland squad. Not sure if thats a good or a bad thing though
Knighton Matt Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 i'd rule him out on looks alone the chav ba***rd!
Cobbo Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 i'd rule him out on looks alone the chav ba***rd! 107621 Nice fringe

Anish Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 Trevor Benjamin was meant to be the next best thing when we signed him when he was banging all those goals in for Cambridge at the same level. Look how he turned out. I've not seen Miller play but if the Bristol fans don't rate him I wouldn't hold up much hope.
New England Fox Posted 13 May 2005 Posted 13 May 2005 They were very optimistic when they signed him as he had a good reputation but he literally did feck all for Bristol.
Ric Flair Posted 13 May 2005 Author Posted 13 May 2005 Well i've watched him play and seen all the goals he's scored for Hearts and I rate him. I'm sorry if people disagree, but i'm only going on what i've saw and couple that with his record he looks quite a prospect. He did only 9 goals last season for Brizzle, which is shocking but players can have seasons like this. If players were written off every time they had a shit season, then there would only be a handfull of professional players still playing. Brizzle might think he's shit and fair enough, but from what i've seen of him he's better than De Vries and quite alot of strikers i've seen playing at Leicester's level. Brizzle need a centre half desperately and I think a £200,000 + Matt Heath deal sounds tasty.
