C-man Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 On 606 now, critcising Martin O'Neill. Tools. Are they beginning to believe the hype? Can't believe how fickle they are!
lildave3 Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Sheer stupidity. Although he does have an important summer ahead of him.
Koke Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 They don't realize how difficult it is to break up the top 4 monopoly. It's not a piece of piss. Two seasons of success and now they think they are the dogs bollocks.
Joe. Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Complete madness after the season they've had. OK, they fucked up when it mattered in the UEFA Cup and the league, but as said, it's incredibly difficult to kick out one of the top four. Think the fans need a sharp reality check.
Hitesh Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 I bet the fans ringing in were the same fans saying he was the best manager in the world earlier in the season when they riding high in 3rd place! Pathetic!
Ultra Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Villa have been very disappointing in the last three months. As LD3 says, MON has a lot of work to do over the summer.
MarkDeVries Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Villa fans absolutely slate Agbonlahor from what I hear Personally I think he will be a quality player in the future and isn't bad now just lost form along with the whole team
Koke Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Agbonlahor is pretty mediocre anyway. I've said it before, if Villa wants to get to the next level [finishing 4th] then they need better strikers than Agbonlahor.
deepbluedevil Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 sad to say it but they started going downhill when they signed Heskey
Ultra Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Heskey was bought as cover for Carew. But Villa needed to strengthen other areas of their side. MON paid way over the odds for Davies and Knight, who are nowhere near good enough for the Champions League.
Flynny Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Heskey was bought as cover for Carew. But Villa needed to strengthen other areas of their side. MON paid way over the odds for Davies and Knight, who are nowhere near good enough for the Champions League. That's not why he's bought them though, is it? Some of the players we buy for the Championship probably won't be good enough for the Premiership, even if that's where we're aiming. This backlash is really disappointing. They performed literally amazingly, got the credit they deserved, and now they're having a slightly rocky spell are getting slaughtered for it. I agree that their strike options aren't good enough, mind. Next season will be the big test for them.
Tommeh Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Where's their appreciation thread from a few months back ey? They got an absolute rimming from dudes on here.. They all think their the dogs bollocks these days. Wankers. Give me Birmingham anyday of the week. Keep right on....

They are just as bad, small club syndrome.
Alexikokopops Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Anyone see any parallels to our fans criticising Pearson and saying we wouldn't finish in the automatic spots after we drew a few games?
lcfc_jme Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Seeing Villa **** up so monumentally has made me laugh. A lot. They were WAY too overhyped simply because they've got a few more English players than other Prem teams. They're not good enough now, nor will they be next season, to break the top 4, and the sooner the English media and their fans realise this the better. MON is a ****ing brilliant manager, and if they think that finishing 5th in the so-called best league in the world is a disaster or him failing, they don't deserve football. Completely deluded mongy ****tarded wankers, the lot of them. Seriously, their fans are almost as bad as fans of the top 4. It's a joke. I'm glad the Villa love-in has died on its arse, the sooner they return to mediocrity and stop punching above their weight the better.
