I mean, a knock out round followed by a group round where you only play each other once with the top three going through, followed by more knockout? Ridiculous. Rebranding it the "Europa League" is probably just going to make it even more of a joke. Yep. A competition like this that is not the top of the up competitions needs to be a knockout all the way through to make it more interesting and entertaining. A real cup competition. Now it is just shit until the latter stages. And that will remain the same in the Europa League. Gay.

StanSP Posted 20 May 2009 Posted 20 May 2009 Frings was unlucky with his booking. Didn't get anywhere near Lewandowski. Naldo's free-kick was sweetly struck, but keeper obviously should have saved it properly. Lovely finish for Shakhtar's goal. Hope second half is even better!
