Big thanks to Talking Balls again for the quality service and facilities they provided. I believe we got £160 for charity which is even better. Tommeh Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 Huge fun as always to see everyone and have a knock around, game played in the right spirits and although we did very well don't think it was a 6-0, Tevez kept them out many times 2nd half. The heat really was unbearable 1st half and combining it with my recent fitness and hangover it was very tough going. Players were rotated well and think we had just the right number in the end with the drop outs meant many got a good 50/60 minutes. Special mention to Kilworth who made the journey then only got 5 minutes game time due to his daughter's endless crying!

Levi loved it, 'Lionel Messi' Just got back from what has been a great weekend if not a long one. Shout out to C-Man who drove from a different country to play, brilliantly as always, and bettering even my 400 mile effort. Sorry i couldn't sub for you sooner.

Perhaps not getting a game herself.

No complaints really, just thankful we managed to keep it sensible early on else it could have been a real hammering. Plenty of what if moments in the first half for us with the 50/50 on the keeper and just like but no doubt the pace would have stepped up when we'd have been buggered. Probably need 4 more players, just 4 more pair of legs would have helped. Personally, I was awful. About two yards off the pace and the touch of some skeggy donkey.
