Teeno Posted 12 July 2004 Posted 12 July 2004 I know a lot of people have questioned his signings but IMO the 2 players we have all but got today are excellent signings and I can now see us winning the league. Players like Connolly can be the difference between Promotion and midtable. Today I'm glad to hear good news come out of the club.

Williams from forest - we just keep nicking their good players - shame we couldn't keep hold of scimeca. We also have a European Champion in our squad at least for the time being. All seems well and good. Mauweene or however you spell it - not over-joyed i didn't think much of this chap when i saw him play - however he's good on championship manager which means he must be excellent. But then so is James Graham so get him in the team before Arsenal buy him! So maybe just maybe we're shapping up good from this campaign! But i ain't getting over optomistic too soon after wolves away, middlesbrough away, man city home and of course england v france. Know what i mean! ooooh they hurt!

I'm not sure I could go through another season like that. Wolves and Boro was suicidal stuff.
87fox Posted 12 July 2004 Posted 12 July 2004 Yeah man that was just so gay. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise so that Leicester fans didn't suffer as much as all other England fans after the France match because we were so used to it from last season.
