woody1983 Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Does anyone know the price of the tickets?? cant seem to find information anywhere! Trains all booked for £10.20 so hopefully the tickets are equally as cheap! Cheers!
CosbehFox Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 http://www.shrewsburytown.com/page/NewsDet...1698881,00.html £15 adult £10 65+ £10 student £10 unaccompained junior family tickets on there as well (which can be taken advantage of to save some dough) We've had an area of 900 I think allocated to ours.
purpleronnie Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 15 quid for a friendly against shrewsbury, I don't know how you lot do it.

woody1983 Posted 20 July 2009 Author Posted 20 July 2009 10.20 is that adult or kid? if its an adult thats cheap Adult. its £20.40 with return from leicester to birmingham the a return birmingham to shrews. but because theres for of us we get group saver so buy two get two free. cheers cardiff_fox!! £15 is pretty steep but im missing football, and sounds like a better investment than a piss up round town.....although that'll probably happen too
Corky Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Given the fact I'd have to get three trains there, same on the way back, I think I'll knock it on the head. King's Lynn and Valladolid the friendlies for me this pre-season.

Saturday and a nice town. Personally feel it's a bit of effort travelling during the week for pre-season. One and only pre-season fixture thus don't mind paying a bit more. It's widespread though....pre-season prices have gone through the roof.

CosbehFox Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 The old stadium was great but the new one looks dull as... Most agreed. Forgot to include it on the previous post. Get there early, walk to the town and then wander around the 600 listed buildings.
Floating Fox Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 I'd rather run the assault course again than pay that. Jokers.
Head Honcho Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Not sure if I'm going to Birmingham or Plymouth this weekend. If it's Birmingham I'll make the trip to Shrewsbury. £10 return from brum on the train and £15 to get in doesn't seem that bad
Daggers Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 I am a £10 student. You're thin but you're never that thin.

Problem is there is nothing to do when you get there Went with Mansfield about 2 seasons ago, nearest pub 15minute walk, if you don't want a pub then you have shot it basically.

I later mentioned that....you have to walk into Shrewsbury to entertain yourself.
Cobbo Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 The Scow and Cob shall go to the 'bury on the train. Rock n roll.
