For those who complained about the hot weather...

Summer seems to have moved back a couple of months. Nowadays we get warm, dry, sunny (ish) weather in April, May and most of June. Then it goes shit in July and August (new rainy season?) followed by some random warmth in September.

July has always officially been regarded as the wettest month of the year, so nothing to be surprised about. January is regarded as the dryest.

It's supposed to improve. It helps to chant that whilst sat hugging your knees and rocking back and forth in the middle of the floor.

Whilst wearing all the jumpers that you own?

That is me.

I'm still waiting for the 'heat wave' the weather experts predicted!!

It's our anniversary this weekend and were going to a very rainy Edinburgh....feck!!

Where are you taking her? Are you taking her to the Witchery? That would be a great anniversary meal.

I've booked a couple of places, the wedgewood and some place in Leith!! I've ate at many Michelin star places and many posh places before, and I don't really think there worth it, there just far too pretentious for me, we like good comfort food in relaxed surroundings!!!!

Normally I would agree, but the Witchery has character, and is worth it. We did find a great little Italian restaurant the last time we went to Edinburgh. The owner is mates with Bobby Smith, apparently! lol

Got soaked about 4 times today on site visits. Everytime I got out of the car it poured, as soon as I got back in it stopped.
