Chimp Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 "It started with a goaless draw, it will finish with one."WTF else did he think the game started with!?!?! Absolute classic quote! 104893 Oh, he's talking about the season... .
Katy Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 Thank god the season is over 104900 Exactly - at least we arent Gillingham!
Matt Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 Forest fans actually do have a sense of humour apparrently the were chanting "Down with the Forest" to the Gillingham fans!

Louise Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 Makes this season even more depressing watching Sunderland and Wigan celebrating. It seems like just yesterday when that was us, now look at us, fighting out a pointless 0-0 draw mid-table in the Championship. How depressing.
Mark Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 I don't mean to critise, honest <_< But for god sake, why are we bringing Dublin on for that brainless donkey for a "run out", we've seen him all season and we've got O'Grady and Dawson as subs. Leave Dawson, for your own good

Louise Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 I agree. It's a bit of a contradiction, the formation and players said we wanted to win the game but the performance didn't. Levein needed to be able to change his plans by HT or about the 60th minute but he didn't. Overall it doesn't matter as we were playing for nothing (except pride but what do our players know about that?), but it would be nice to see the progression continue and signs for next season looking positive, rather than having the players clearly just thinking about their holidays. I hope Levein doesn't sign Moore, as I said previously I know he's not played much, but he has played enough that we can see he doesn't make an impact and I'd rather us get someone older who can score than someone young who can't.
Vo Rogue Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 Season over but has Mr L got a lot to do after todays game.He better start at 9am tomorrow n work on sorting it out by August.Lets not have a season of excuses ahead of us.
Matt Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 Another cock up by RL, the commentator said "We'll be waiting till August 7th" Do they already know the fixture list then? Will our first game of the season be on the Sunday? -I'm not saying our first game won't be on the sunday but its more likely we'll be playing on the saturday isn't it?
ian27 Posted 8 May 2005 Posted 8 May 2005 c'mon ian27 give us a post! 104850 Guess I should stop lurking and start posting Only caught the first half before being dragged out, doesnt seem like i missed a great deal though! Its a shame the younger players couldn't have been involved a lot earlier than today, in games that other sides were more interested in and gained some real experience. Still I'm a lot more hopeful about the way things are going than earlier this season. Ian
