Seems strange. I'd have thought Eto'o is more likely to be a better assest in Barca's side. He's quick and a good finisher in and around the box where the likes of Messi and Henry are going to be laying chances on a plate for him.

Whereas Imbrahimovic is a little less mobile and at times when I've watched him seems very lethargic and moody if he's not getting all the attention.

Ibrahimovic's reputation suffers over here much like a Francesco Totti for instance, i.e they are both rubbish when televised playing on British TV. You can't argue with hias goalscoring record though, even though the price is steep, he obviously fits in with Guardiolas philosophy as well.

The real masterstroke here for Inter could be Hleb (should he eventually join). Despite his limitations, the guy made Arsenal tick and any return to form sees Inter beocme a very interesting proposition indeed.

Jose must of been laughing so much when Ibrahimovic signed for Barca, he is overated and he will be overshadowed in La Liga by the likes of Ronaldo, Messi and Kaka.

If this is Barca's way of trying to keep up with Real on the spending front then they dramtically failed.

Speaking as someone that has seen him play, a little for Ajax too, I'd say he definately does have the talent. He has an incredible amount of talent tbf, but you really do have to question his application and his attitude. He totally believes his own hype, and it's way beyond just being self confident, it's ridiculous.

I just can't see what he'll give Barca that Eto'o doesn't.

He was awesome at Ajax too. That famous goal he scored is one of my favourite ever. I am sure we all know which one. :)

As I have said, I would have wanted to keep Eto'o any day but I will get behind Zlatan, he is a big headed so and so but also remember, Eto'o had one hell of an attitude on him too. The only thing is he could consistently produce the goods so it didn't really matter too much, it was only on them bad days when the press would bring this up.

So looking forward to two of my favourite leagues kicking off to be honest, Eto'o at Inter will be very good to watch and I am also looking forward to seeing how Diego and Melo do at Juve.

The one where he faked to shoot about a hundred times? lol

Can't wait for Serie A to start either tbh, got a feeling Juve will push Inter very close.

ha ha. Yeah that's the one. Loved that goal. That is when I thought, wow, we could have a superstar on our hands. Just always been a nearly man, talks too much.

Yes Juve look in good shape, I just hope it is a lot closer. Milan are seriously going to struggle I think, vast improvements are needed.

Barcelona saw what Real Madrid did this summer and ... umm...

Did they make this move just for the sake of making a big move?
