iPhone Apps

It is not called an "iTouch" lol

I was going to jailbreak mine, there are some decent tutorials on youtube etc. I am not going to bother though, I don't see the point in spending all that money on it to potentially ruin the damn thing. I am more than happy to put up with shitty apps like stocks in order to gain access to the decent content in the app store.

I am loving the new iTunes, I can share now between my Mac (when it arrives) and my Windows laptop. Great stuff.

Anyone jailbroken there iPhone/iPod Touch?

What program did you use?

And where do you get the apps?

Ta

Iv jailbroken my iphone, used redsn0w, if you go on youtube and type in 'how to jailbreak iPhone/iPod touch" then this will help loads. Once i found out of youtube was easy peasy to do it.

As for the apps you download them from either your jailbreak package, in my case its cydia, but the apps on there are pretty cr*p. Download apps from iTunes there the best ones, some will cost you but there are a lot of free versions of many apps.

'Clumsy Wanking Pim Hole'

I like this one. I like it a lot. Maybe it's because I hate Pimms.

iDaft is pretty cool.

Daft Punks app, basically you just make Harder Better Faster Stronger.

Stupidly addictive for something so limited lol

Thanks mate.

I knew you could get the apps from the app store, but my mates one has got Installous(?) and he says most of the apps that cost money, you can get for free through that.

The only thing is with my iphone is that now iv done it, it freezes, only sometimes but its always when you need it most... only for 5 seconds or so though.

yeh iv just checked it out and looks pretty good, might download myself!

Just downloaded and installed that installous.

I like it, it crashes a LOT but when you get it working its very handy ;)

Some of the programs on it dont work and the effort of downloading it seems pointless, which of course it is.

The idea is good but getting it to work is another thing

Do you get all the apps free?

And where did you download it from?

And what OS you on?

Thanks

OMG! I need that! ;)

It's an annual fee, I think - but it pays for itself the first time you fill up in a strange town.

The more you travel about the more you save (unless you just Google the name of the supermarket you want to find); it's a lot less fuss with an app I reckon.

News buffs: Reuters app is the only one worth bothering with seeing as the Media just rehash their copy these days.

Music bods: Why would anyone pay for Spotify or suffer their ads when you can have the RadioBOX app?

Sports fans: iFooty, iFooty World, Sky Sports and UEFA.com

Pix: Flickr app makes storing your pictures on the move a breeze

Nerds: TouchCalc is the best calculator app out there`

Other: Reg2Car is free for a limited period...type in someone's reg and up will pop all the car's details! Seriously. But why? lol

Game: Pirate Bay (it was free on Sunday), Sentinel 2, Crack the code, Boxed in, Pocket God, iChess

You know you can get that fuel prices thing sent to you in an email for free every day right.

Still looks like a good app though.
