Macclesfield Pre-Match

based on saturday, it looks like we have enough strength in depth in certain areas to change it a little, so wouldn't be surprised if we saw tunchev stepping out, and prob fryatt just for the match fitness.. beyond that it would be interesting to see gradel - adams - wellens - dyer.... i seem to remember hearing good things about adams in the middle...

having said that, NP is not really one for surprises, so if it stays unchanged i also wouldn't be shocked....or for that matter too dissappointed.

i thought it was tonight, but it's wednesday, yes... ahh, well i'll be cheering on the nordmenn against the jocks at ulleval!

King's with the Welsh younsters so is unavailable according to today's Merc

True say, I got an official text earlier saying he wasn't

Is Tunchev available?

Edit: just seen that he's not on the OS.

Same with Tunch, he's on international duty too.

So Bellamy doesn't have to go when he's healthy but Tunch does and he's not fully fit? Cracking.

Im thinking it will be a tough scrappy game that we will edge 1-0.

Looking forward to this more than many other games this season simply for the open terrace.

The team will probably be this:

Weale

Morrison

Brown

Hobbs

Berner

N'Guessan

Oakley

Wellens

Adams

Howard

Fryatt

Subs: Waghorn, Dyer, Logan, O'Neil, Dickov, Gradel, King

If your allowed 7 subs in the cup :P

Couldn't take part against Real Vallodlildiodlid and Swansea, Swansea being hugely important for us, but can fly thousands of miles to Bulgaria for a shitty friendly V Latvia. Wheres his priority? Will he start against Hipswich, another crucial game for us, not likely. Garrard has pulled out for England, Tunchev should do the same for us.

possibly with city. if he withdraws from the squad because of injury then bulgaria can force the 5 day rule meaning he can't play for us on saturday. so maybe hes joining up with the bulgaria squad because he's now fit enough to play a part against ipswich and wants to play so he's making sure he doesn't get banned (as it were) from playing on saturday.

OK, so i got the day wrong and travelled to Macclesfield a day early, I was not impressed. But it does give me the chance to relay back some info:

The train station is about a mile and a half from the ground and stright down the main road, no chance of missing it.

There is nothing to do around the ground, literally nothing.

I couldn't see a ticket office, i think it is pay-on-the-gate.

The open terrace looks very exposed, i'd bring a waterproof!

There is no car park but loads of on street parking if you get there soon enough, i wouldn't leave any leicester stuff on display in your car, but i guess that is common sense.

Ah, wanted to go to this but can't due to lack of funds. Can only afford 1 away game this month, which will be Newcastle. :(

I reckon 2-0 to us, Adams and Fryatt.
