StanSP Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Gonna be a cracking title race id say Yep! Liverpool gonna come back . Arsenal play Bolton on Wednesday again . Think the outcome will be the same though. Although Taylor should have put Bolton back in the game on at least 3 occasions before Arsenal got their second.
lcfc_jme Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Arsenal are a sublime side. They're seriously 1 strong-tackling midfield battleaxe and a clinical striker away from dominating England.

Never really got replacements for Vieira and Henry/Bergkamp. Thing is though, who, with those qualities in those positions can they realistically afford to get?
MC Prussian Posted 17 January 2010 Author Posted 17 January 2010 Was Savage really injured by Cuellar's cross today? Made me laugh when I read about it on BBC Sports live coverage...
StanSP Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Was Savage really injured by Cuellar's cross today?Made me laugh when I read about it on BBC Sports live coverage... Cuellar's clearance. Got Savage right in the kisser apparently. Knocked his headphones off and he started bleeding . They've got a snippet which you can listen to on BBC. Made quite funny by his co-commentators' reaction!
Jimothy Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Just what Pompey needed. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...uth/8469950.stm
Uncle Albert Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Anyone got a good link for the Liverpool Spurs game?
Jimothy Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 What the fuck are Arsenal playing at?! It's 1-2 now though. Arsenal have the momentum and with a bollocking at half time, they'll win it in the second half now.
MC Prussian Posted 20 January 2010 Author Posted 20 January 2010 2-2 FABREEGAAAAASS!!! Lucky that Arsenal were able to keep the advantage, though. Bad tackle from Gallas on Mark Davies.
StanSP Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 2-2FABREEGAAAAASS!!! Lucky that Arsenal were able to keep the advantage, though. Bad tackle from Gallas on Mark Davies. Shoulda been a red apparently.

Jimothy Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 It's 1-2 now though. Arsenal have the momentum and with a bollocking at half time, they'll win it in the second half now. Shite, should have put some money on it!
MC Prussian Posted 20 January 2010 Author Posted 20 January 2010 Holy Maccaroli. 4-2. Great game. Great goals. Arsenal 2009/10.
Tommeh Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Now that would have been the goal of the season Arshavin
StanSP Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Now that would have been the goal of the season Arshavin Him and Vermaelen getting me some Fantasy League points . Still got Rooney and Giggs to play hopefully on Saturday . But what a night of football!
Jimothy Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Anyone seen the disallowed Defoe goal from tonight? And if they did can someone explain to me how the feck it was offside, because I think I've missed something in the rules of football. If you haven't seen it, Kyrgiakos passed it back to Reina, Reina slips Defoe nicks it off him a slips it in the back of the net. How is that offside?

How is that offside? He was given offside because he was off in the first place, it's all to do with the phases nonsense. No idea whether it should have stood personally
Jimothy Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 He was given offside because he was off in the first place, it's all to do with the phases nonsense. No idea whether it should have stood personally Well surely it should have stood then. He might have been offside from the original ball forward, but the moment the Liverpool defender got the ball it's a new passage of play, and if he wanted to pass the ball to Defoe its up to him, but Defoe wouldn't be offside.
