purpleronnie Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 I hope rooney doesnt have an affair, if he does we might aswell not go to south africa. But what are the chances of that?
Tilley Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Denilson is such a sack of useless shit. Basically walked back behind Rooney for their second. Need Ramsey on for that clown and then Bendtner for any of the front three.
Tilley Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 When did Nani get good? God knows. Looks like Ronaldo this afternoon.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 When did Nani get good? I said at the start of the game, "Nani's done nothing hardly this season."
maddog Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Ronaldo did nothing when he started at Man Utd. 18 goals in 94 Premier League appearences in his first 3 seasons at Man Utd before he started banging them in. Nani has so many similarities to him, the way he addresses free kicks, the way he moves and runs, the way he kicks it. But so far at United he's been very shit.
Sparky Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 United looking very impressive, cracking break for Rooneys goal
Matt Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 The best footballing side in England ain't doing too well against United are they Gotta love Wenger when he gets stroppy!!
Tilley Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Oh look, Denilson loses the ball and United score from the break.
C-man Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 I suppose Manchester United are a long ball team too.
Shrenchel Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 The Emirates has got to be one of the quietest places in the Greater London area. I swear you'd actually probably get more banter at the Natural History Museum. 80% of Arsenal's home support should be shot.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Rooney's playing very well. Just made Eboue look like Neilson.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Arsenal are getting themselves back in this.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Actually, Arsenal ain't getting back into this
Guest Mee-9 Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Great game of football. Thrilling. Rooney ran his arse off all game.
Matt Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010  Arsenal. Matt likes this. Did I just hear boo's at the end of the match? Arsenal can challenge this season :crylaugh:
Tilley Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 England are fucked if Rooney gets injured before the World Cup.
TrickyTrev Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Rooney is simply superb as a lone striker. The 2nd goal sums up why he is great; takes the ball back to goal, has the touch to turn his man, plays a great pass to his supporting player, then has the mobility to get on the end of the return pass some 50 yards later. He can hold the ball, bring others into play and be a goal threat. I think Capello is going to have to seriously consider playing him upfront. The difference in quality between him and our other centre forwards is just that much greater than the difference between say Rooney and Joe Cole in one of those two free roles.
Matt Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 England are fucked if Rooney gets injured before the World Cup. The script is already written. Rooney is either; a) Going to dry up just before the World Cup. Or b) Get injured.
purpleronnie Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Rooneys a great player, but I've noticed he almost always checks back on his right foot, but for some reason defenders just like today dont show him outside and rooney cuts inside on his right foot, I think better defenders would work out rooneys game, thats not to say he cant adapt but it would definately make his life harder.
