Fox You Forest Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Anyone hear Merson then on SSN, Billyelliotdinov.
Jimothy Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Own goals are now Man Utd second higest scorer this season, two ahead of Berbatov!
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Tackle of the season from Gallas, quality. Both Ngog and Rosicky should have scored. Entertaining 0 - 0 so far, Liverpool Arsenal.
StanSP Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Arsenal 1-0 Liverpool Fergie time coming up at Villa Park. Man Utd been on top so much even though they have 10 men. Teams always work harder and play better with 10 men for some reason.
Corky Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Relegation scrap hots up, West Ham and Wolves both winning. Possible penalty for Liverpool at the end as well.
StanSP Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Arsenal 1-0 Liverpool FT> Controversy at the end where Fabregas apparently handballed. Sounds similar to what Carroll did in the wall in our match. Everton beating Chelsea 2-1. Not long left. Title race wide open now with Man Utd drawing 1-1. Also, Wolves do the double over Spurs. Spurs didn't have a single shot on target in 2nd half.
purpleronnie Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Sounded like Donovan had a great game again, having seen him a lot in the states I'm not surprised, the premiership suits his style and he'll be a big threat when we play the US in the WC. I think he's a great player. I think he should stay in the Prem.
Fox You Forest Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Possible penalty for Liverpool at the end as well. Identical to the one at the end of the Newcastle game too.
Corky Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Identical to the one at the end of the Newcastle game too. It was. Definitely a penalty when the arm is raised like that.
shen Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 It was. Definitely a penalty when the arm is raised like that. It was outside the box anyway, not that Liverpool deserved anything from that game. They were tripe!
lcfc_jme Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 The first half of the Arsenal game was probably one of the single worst halves of football I've ever seen in my life, even on my blurry foreign stream. 2nd half weren't too bad though, Arsenal probably just deserved it in the end. Wouldn't write them off yet, their run-in after the last 2 weeks is a hell of a lot easier than Yanited or Chelsea's appear to be..
lildave3 Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Interesting results tonight. Knew Wolves would get something from Spurs, was just typical of Tottenham that scoreline.
Uncle Albert Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 How Fabregas didnt get penalised at the end I don't know but I don't think it would of been a penalty anyway tbh, a draw would deffinetly of been fairer. Liverpool now HAVE to get a result against Man City next weekend or fourth place is over. The title race is well open now with Arsenal's next 7 games not having any of the top 7 to play.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Just a couple of points. How on earth did the likes of Kevin Friend and Lee Probert manage to get themselves prem games, they were both horrendously out of their depth. It's a shame that the football league teams have to put up with them never mind one of the best leagues in the world. Also, Darren Bent and Steven Gerrard should be ashamed of themselves really. You expect it from the likes of Bendtner (not that it is any more condonable), but it's such a shame to see it creep into the English players
Ford Super Sunday Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 As much as I don't want it, the Premier League is Man Utd's for the taking now. Their consistency, ability to beat teams at the death, and their spirit, as much as it pains me to say it, will see them home. I can just see Chelsea slipping up too many times, and I think Arsenal have dropped too many points to reel Man Utd and Chelsea in. Hope i'm wrong though
lildave3 Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Own goals in United's favour is getting ridiculous now.
Uncle Albert Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Talking of United's own goals they are there second top scorer this season.
Samilktray Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Next season might have a play off between 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th for the final Champions League spot. Would love this, play offs are always exciting.
Shrenchel Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Yeah I think it's a cracking idea. Apparently the stumbling block is the 4 clubs opposing it. Fvck all prizes for guessing.
Samilktray Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Yeah I think it's a cracking idea. Apparently the stumbling block is the 4 clubs opposing it. Fvck all prizes for guessing. How do these things get decided, votes from each club? Surely if the majority of the Prem voted for it the big 4 wouldnt have any choice?
Simi Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Seems a bit crazy to me, how many points are 7th place usually off 4th spot? Would be hilarious to see Liverpool finish 15 points ahead of 7th and then go and lose to someone like Birmingham in a play-off.
