Matt Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 GET IN EVERTON. Wenger to moan about the weather? He'll find some excuse.
Matt Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Arsenal players fighting between themselves? Deja Vu? Throwing their toys out the pram when they are losing, Again? Arsenal really are an entertaining side to watch...When they are losing and squabbling between themselves
Matt Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 5 minutes extra time at the Emirates Arsenal score in the 5 minutes extra time Arsenal get an equaliser in the 5 minutes extra time Everyone makes a fuss only United get 5 minutes extra time when they are losing? No-one take note Arsenal then? Bet no-one will bat an eye-lid about that.

Ford Super Sunday Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Did Arsenal score in the final minute of the extra time? No They scored within the first three minutes, which is exactly why a fuss shouldn't be kicked up.

Well yes, and it's not just people on this forum, it's people all over football. I can't remember any time during this season when Arsenal's injury time at the Emirates has been flagged up, the ref's have the balls to give the right amount for Arsenal and any other team, yet the refs get 'Fergie time' syndrome at Old Trafford.
davieG Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 The thing with Fergie he moans when it's too little or too much depending on whether MU are losing or winning.
Matt Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Well yes, and it's not just people on this forum, it's people all over football. I can't remember any time during this season when Arsenal's injury time at the Emirates has been flagged up, the ref's have the balls to give the right amount for Arsenal and any other team, yet the refs get 'Fergie time' syndrome at Old Trafford. Oh yeah I know it's people all over football, not just here. I don't know people haven't noticed it at Arsenal, maybe that because Man Utd are one of the best teams in the world (Debatable - But they are certainly one off - You can't put it all down to luck) and people will always look to shoot them down. I'm not a United fan, Certainly not, If I had to pick one of the top 4 it would be United, but i'm not a fan of any. Just been having a quick look using the BBC site looking at United's added time/goals scored; 1) Man Utd 3 - 2 CSKA Moscow - Scored in 90(+3) - 5 minutes added (So refering to Ian C's post - What's the fuss kicked up for seeing as they scored before the last minute?) 2) Man Utd 2 - 2 Sunderland - Scored 90(+4) - 5 minutes added (Close, but still not in the last minute of extra time.) 3) Man Utd 4 - 3 Man City - Scored 90(+6) - 5 minutes added (That's the big controversial game about the added time.) 4) Wigan 0 - 5 Man Utd - Scored 90(+2) - 2 mins added (Last minute fair enough but 2 minutes is quite a common amount of added time i'd say not exactly taking the piss is it? Besides they were winning by a clear 4 goals so they didn't exactly need it) So 4 occasions (This season), 3 of which had impact on games, 1 of which was scored in the last minute/over the added time, I'm sure if you did enough research you'd find other clubs have had similar luck, Remember 2? season's ago when Leeds scored all their late goals, I'd be guessing they scored many of their late goals in added time. Or what about us when Maxi scored that debatably late freekick v McDons? (It was over the added time shown by the 4th official but when you've worked out that their players were wasting time. e.t.c - I think it worked out to be right and within the time added) It happens, As I said though I think the fact United are one of the worlds best and alot of people have alot of dislike for them they get shot down easily.
Jordan Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Everton scored on a Landon Donovan corner. Just wanted to let you know.

lildave3 Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Yes Jerome! Go on Birmingham. Good day for Chelsea if United drop points here.
AjcW Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Get in Cameron!! 1-0 Brum. I dont particularly want to get started on Uniteds support again but seriously all they fucking sing is various players(mostly old players) names over and over in some sort of tune, i seem to be the only person who thinks this though.
Jimothy Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Darren Fletcher is slowly becoming the new Joey Barton/Michael Brown/Roy Keane etc of the Premier League. Doesn't get a decision he'll moan and moan and then take a lump out of the nearest player. Pathetic player.
