StanSP Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Some bloke poses a decent question/jibe at Alex Ferguson's transfer policy on BBC live text: Berbatov or Tevez? Also not forgetting Tevez was supposedly £25m in comparison to the £31m for Berbatov. Tevez all the way.
StanSP Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Tevez hat-trick makes it Man City 4-1 Blackburn.
lildave3 Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Tevez has been superb tonight, and i'm not even a fan of his really.
Unabomber Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Tevez is running this. Absolutely. He was fantastic, but he was playing against a woeful unimaginative Blackburn. I can't wait to see how City do against Everton and United in the next week or so.
Libertine Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 The in-form striker shifts the ball onto his right foot and with no backlift, curls the ball around the defender and past an unsighted Paul Robinson. Tevez celebrates with a wiggle of his Argentine behind. Love him.
MC Prussian Posted 11 January 2010 Author Posted 11 January 2010 Marvellous display by Manchester City's Argentinian in-form striker. The touch for his third, exceptional. All Blackburn defenders were running with him, then one deke, shot. BANG. Please carry on, Carlos.
Jimothy Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Sol Campbell?Crazy. It's just ridiculous. Could be getting him ready for a coaching role I guess. That would be the only way it makes any sense. Man Utd and Chelsea must be loving it.
maddog Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 I had a dream last week that Sol Campbell went back to Arsenal and scored the opening goal on his return PL game. Now he's playing for Arsenal reserves tonight and may end up signing for them, crazy shit

Super_horns Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Saw Adebayor on Sky giving an interview wearing an Arsenal polo shirt http://i47.tinypic.com/33a6l39.jpg Odd but then his mind won't exactly be fully focused on what shirt to wear etc after recent events.
Fox92 Posted 14 January 2010 Posted 14 January 2010 Rubbish.Just look at their bench, the likes of Spearing, Dossena, N'Gog, Pacheco, Darby, Kyrgiakos, etc. That's quality? I would go as far as to say that OUR (not Forest) bench is better than that. Liverpool are a two man team of Gerrard and Torres, if one of them gets injured, they're in trouble, if both of them get injured, it's a disaster! Also, look at the managers. I rate Mancini, O'Neill and Redknapp all higher than the Spanish faggot. Liverpool: Gerrard, Torres and Johnson. Villa: Dunne, Young, Milner, Downing, Heskey and Agbonlahor. Man City: Given, Richards, Robinho, Tevez, Adebayor, De Jong, Bellamy, Santa Cruz. Tottenham: Woodgate, Defoe, Crouch, Keane, Lennon, Jenas and Huddlestone. Apart from those 3 Liverpool players, the rest are VERY average with a shite manager. The other teams have more quality throughout their squad. I hope Liverpool fail and I hope they fail badly. I also hope that Everton knock them out of the Europa League. After watching Liverpool yesterday against Reading, I apologize for saying that Liverpool will make the top 4. You were right, they are rubbish.
Wycombe Fox Posted 14 January 2010 Posted 14 January 2010 Torres out for 6 weeks for knee operation. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ool/8458296.stm
davieG Posted 14 January 2010 Posted 14 January 2010 Seems like the Premier League are cover Portsmouth's creditors from TV receipts and James has gone out on loan to Stoke.
StanSP Posted 14 January 2010 Posted 14 January 2010 Torres out for 6 weeks for knee operation.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ool/8458296.stm Gerrard and Benayoun out for 2-3 weeks too. Although Gerrard might be back for the derby on Feb 6th.
MC Prussian Posted 16 January 2010 Author Posted 16 January 2010 Portsmouth vs. Birmingham called off. No snow. Waterlogged pitch. They just can't handle it, eh?
