dogadug Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Forget my last post, Lafferty's just aggravated his inury, so has been ruled out, so maybe Kee will play tomorrow.
Edmund Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 Great news for the lad. What are the chances of him playing though?
Tommy G Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 Great news for the lad. What are the chances of him playing though? 22/1 according to BetFred
Edmund Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 22/1 according to BetFred Didn't know it was possible to bet on people playing?
maddog Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 NI can't afford to lose tonight or they almost certainly won't make the playoffs. Kee Hat trick, David Healy-esque in 2nd half and NI win 3-2, like when they beat Spain
dogadug Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 Unfortunately, he didn't get on the pitch tonight - thought they would have threw him on at the end, but never mind.
maddog Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 Unfortunately, he didn't get on the pitch tonight - thought they would have threw him on at the end, but never mind. Very unlucky for NI. They were so close to beating Poland at the weekend, and lost at home tonight, had they got the win at the weekend they would be looking at a play off place. Now they need to beat Czech Republic away to stand any chance of a playoff spot. And i can't see Slovenia slipping up against San Marino so NI looked doomed for me. Wales and Scotland are out, Ireland look sure of a playoff place but who knows what side they will get in that. So maybe just England again
Edmund Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 Unfortunately, he didn't get on the pitch tonight - thought they would have threw him on at the end, but never mind. Shame but the experience of just being/training with the International side would have done him the world of good.
smokey Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 Scored what could prove the winner for Stanley tonight!!
Thracian Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 Shame but the experience of just being/training with the International side would have done him the world of good. The only thing that will do Billy Kee any good at this stage of his career is playing and scoring goals.
lildave3 Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 Scored what could prove the winner for Stanley tonight!! It was. Now he's started...
Steven Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 Scored what could prove the winner for Stanley tonight!! From the BBC. Accrington Stanley 2 - 1 DarlingtonA Billy Kee header helped crisis-club Accrington to a much-needed win against League two strugglers Darlington. The Northern Ireland striker nodded in Luke Joyce's right-wing cross to secure all the spoils after 83 minutes. Stanley began well when captain Andy Procter headed the opener following John Miles' fine left-wing cross. The hosts hit the woodwork four times before Quakers striker Kevin Gall equalised by lobbing over Ian Dunbavin which set up the frantic finale.

Leicesterboi Posted 12 September 2009 Posted 12 September 2009 Now the Monkey is off his back for getting his first league goal I think they will start to come freely now. The lad is a natural goalscorer. Well Done Big Man!!!
foxoffderby Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 From teamtalk Kee staying longer with Stanley Leicester striker Billy Kee will remain on loan at League Two outfit Accrington for another month as he continues to help their play-off hopes The Northern Ireland Under-19 international has featured in 22 games, starting 10 for Stanley since joining the League Two club in August. Kee has scored two goals during his stint at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, the first coming in a 2-1 home win over Darlington in mid-September and the other in a 2-0 victory at Burton at the start of last month.
